Nouvelle Aquitaine-FDJ's rider Evita Muzic found herself on the wrong side of a pedestrian island near the finish of Stage 6 of the 2021 Women's Tour (of Britain). Evita Muzic's crash where she, unfortunately, clipped the kerb and started a domino effect behind her as she went airborne. Paris Roubaix Femmes is being raced for the first time ever in 2021. 125 years after the first Paris Roubaix, there is now a women's race over the same cobbled roads. The 2002 Paris Roubaix was the 100th edition of the monumental race. The last wet edition too before the expected race in the 2021 Paris Roubaix. The race was dominated by Domo Farm Frites rider Johan Museeuw who took an impressive victory by over 3 minutes. The 2011 Trofeo Alfredo Binda was won with a long solo break of 69km by British rider Emma Pooley. She took off on her own, despite the conditions, and held off a chasing pack containing Emma Johansson, Annemiek van Vleuten and Lucinda Brand. Emma Pooley had won the 2009 edition so clearly likes the course, although she has said she doesn't like riding in the rain. The 2010 Women's Tour of Flanders saw big name riders like Marianne Vos, Emma Johansson and Kirsten Wild racing. Current stars like Annemiek van Vleuten and Chantal Blaak were also there too. A Sunday In Hell is the 1976 documentary following the 1976 Paris Roubaix race. It was directed by Danish director Jørgen Leth. The key riders are introduced - Eddy Merckx, Roger de Vlaeminck, Freddy Maertens and Francesco Moser. Anna van der Breggen won the 2020 Cycling World Championships at Imola with an incredible solo breakaway. Whilst on her own, the camera helicopter managed to capture an awesome scene with Van der Breggen cycling across a ridge. Riejanne Markus won her first-ever Women's WorldTour victory on Stage 2 of the Ladies Tour of Norway 2021. On the podium to celebrate her win, Markus tried to take the tray containing all of the prizes for the top-3 finishers of the stage. Remember when Mark Cavendish hadn't won a race in over 3 years? That was the situation during the 2021 Tour of Turkey, as strange as that sounds after this year's Tour de France! Stage 2 of the Tour of Turkey saw Mark Cavendish break the longest win drought of his career. Alison Jackson ended up rolling over into a ditch during the 2021 Gent Wevelgem after a touch of wheels in the peloton. She was unharmed and quickly was back on the road. Unfortunately, the chain had some off and took some getting back onto the chainring. Just as Alison Jackson managed it, her Liv Racing team car appeared with a fresh bike. With 240km still to race and after trying to get into the break, Astana PremierTech's Yevgeniy Fedorov brake-tested Alpecin-Fenix's Otto Vergaerde after feeling like he was blocked. He responded by pulling alongside Fedorov and nudging into him. Fedorov had a go back but missed. Both riders stayed upright through the whole shebang. Unsurprisingly, both riders were disqualified from the 2021 Tour of Flanders not long afterwards. The 2021 Trofeo Alfredo Binda took place next to the great Italian lake of Maggiore. The riders tackled 141.8km, with 4 short laps included to the finish line. Previous winners Marianne Vos, Katarzyna Niewiadoma, Lizzie Deignan and Elisa Longo Borghini were all on the startlist too. This year's Nokere Koerse saw the riders take on the Nokereberg multiple times. The race got off to a quiet start before a breakaway attacked and took hold. The riders behind had to try hard to chase it down.
