BEFORE HOGWARTS

Alice grew up cherished and loved. Her father was known as the ‘ice cream man’. Alice spent most of her days in the shop with her parents. Her mother, a French witch who had moved to England for Mr. Fortescue was the one who named every flavor in the establishment. She knew every flavor by the time she was five. When she wasn’t at the shop, she was playing in the flower fields behind the Fortescue home. Daisies and Roses would soon become her favorite things to wear in her hair.

Before leaving to Hogwarts, tragedy stuck the family. Alice’s mother was murdered. They believe it was by members of her mothers family. Though, no one knows. Miss. Fortescue began to change. Once a naive girl grew to be a victim of the war, she began to study and read, she was going to learn even if it killed her.

AT HOGWARTS

Once Alice got to Hogwarts, everyone knew what house she would be in. Her father and grandparents had been in Ravenclaw - it was only natural. Books and clubs were what kept her grounded. Dueling Club was where she showed her true potential, numerous people were genuinely afraid to duel her. During one week of the club, she met Frank Longbottom and a friendship began. They bonded over their mutual love of the Auror department and how they both intended to join. Frank was the only one to know about her mother to the complete details.

Alice began to read more and study harder. She had decided not long after her mother died that she wanted to become an Auror. They were the people who tried to find her mothers killer, Alice wanted to be better though. She actually wanted to find the murderers. She became known as the fast one, a nickname given to her because of how fast she could knock you on your ass. A befitting nickname, really. Frank and her began to grow closer and are now considered best friends, two peas in a pod.

She is finally in her last year and is working to complete her NEWT’s. Alice has already contacted the Auror department about apply, something she is determined to do. In her free time, she knits, something only Frank and those closest to her knows about.

EXTRA BITS

When Alice’s mother was killed, she did a complete 180. Once upon a time she wanted to be a Healer, like her mother, but things changed. Knitting reminds her of her mother, she mostly knits hats and gloves for the younger students within the castle.

Her favorite thing to read is Shakespeare, it’s a hobby.

BEFORE HOGWARTS

Lucius had it rough his first heartbeat. His mother was sickly, and he was the fifth try for a child. The four pregnancies before him had ended in miscarriages. His mother was forced on bed rest for six months and he was still two months premature. He never was a patient person, even as a young child he demanded each item he got and his parents would laugh and give in. His childhood was spent in an out of hospitals. The Healers weren’t sure if he’d live past ten, they said his lungs didn’t develop correctly. Or so they thought.

At the age of five, his mother dies during childbirth, taking his sister with her. He grew cold after that, his father wanted no part of him. Elves were whom raised him, Binky being a constant within his life. When he got his Hogwarts letter, it was an elf that took him to collect his items. Not his father, that’s when the ice chip began to grow on his shoulder. No matter how much he tried, in the eyes of Abraxas - he wasn’t good enough.

AT HOGWARTS

Once Hogwarts arrived, Lucius knew where he would end up. Slytherin was the only place that fit the Malfoy heir. He almost had wished for something different, but the fear of his father made him keep his mouth shut. Hogwarts was his playground and he had a chip on his shoulder from the moment he first stepped into the school. His focus was on his studies, it was easier to focus on school and his friends than to worry about his father and home life. Things didn’t begin to warp and change until sixth year.

His father began to speak about the Dark Lord and Lucius being stupid asked too many questions. They were met with anger and hate. However, the Malfoy heir began to learn himself and decided that Voldemort was smart and that he would join him when the war arrived. Mudbloods were filth, at least in his eyes. No one exactly knew what caused the heir of Malfoy to begin to think that way.

Now in his seventh year, Lucius is preparing to graduate and join the ranks of the Death Eaters. There has been word of a betrothal but no news on to whom yet, though he tries to ignore it - he can’t. Lucius has begun to grow darker and refuses to deal with stupidity, especially from the younger years.

EXTRA BITS

Lucius’ mother died when he was five, due to that, he has grown to hate women. He believes his sister was what killed his mother and refuses to have children because of it. He is a drinker, his choice being Scotch. His prized possession is his cane he inherited from his father that contains his wand.

Lucius is cruel and quick to hex someone if they anger him.

ALECTO CARROW ✖ SEVENTH YEAR ✖ PUREBLOOD ✖ SLYTHERIN

BEFORE HOGWARTS

If poison had a face, Alecto would be smiling back. From a young age she was ruthless, cruel and vile. She got it from her mother, a woman her father hired for a night of meaningless sex. Born only three months after her brother, she was the U N W A N T E D. Alecto grew up with her mother for the first three years of her life, then she was given to him. Mr. Carrow was heartless, a cold man. His wife was even worse. Amycus was her only safe haven, he was the one who shielded her from the screaming and physical complications of being a Carrow.

When she was seven, she ran away from home. It was too easy, at least until they found her. The fight that ensued wound her up in the hospital. People talked to her and she had to lie. Therapy was given and Alecto refused to attend. She thanked everyone when she turned eleven and was able to finally escape.

AT HOGWARTS

Within six months, Alecto had too many people wrapped around her little finger. Her brother being one of them. She was too dark for her own good, the sneers and curses she directed to people left them afraid. She was practically queen of the school. Or, so she thought. Santana Avery made sure to knock Alec back in her place and a friendship grew. It never went beyond pleasant words, the Carrow girl never allowed it to. When you were fucked over in life as much as she was, you learn to not let those get close to you.

Fifth year brought a seventh year, a boy by the name of Augustus Rookwood to her beck and call. He told her of a man so great that he’d have her screaming. She learned about Voldemort, and even asked her own father about him. Words were exchanged and a vow was given, she was to join his ranks once her schooling was finished. Power hungry, it was the only thing that made sense. Voldemort could give her power and she wanted it all. Amycus learned of her vow and tried to stop her, but the deal was done and signed before he could say otherwise. It was how it was meant to be, at least in Alecto’s mind.

Finally in her seventh year, Alecto realizes there are only mere months until she takes the mark. Her brother, although not graduated, took it over the summer. They have become closer now that she knows he has a mark. It’s one of the few things they have in common.

EXTRA BITS

Alecto is a power hungry person, it’s either her way or no way. She grew up with too hard of a life and likes to let people feel what she did. Her anger is from her mother abandoning her and from her stepmothers bitterness towards her. Amycus has been the only constant in her life, and, without him, living is pointless to her.

Alecto is feared by many within the school, she is known for her dark spells and hexes she places on students to get them to listen.

BEFORE HOGWARTS

Lily Evans was proud to announce she had a normal childhood growing up, thank you very much! That was at least until she was nine. Things had started before that, but the truth came out after that birthday. A young boy named Severus introduced himself to her and everything changed. Magic became a constant in her life, she learned how to grow flowers with no water. She learned how to do numerous different things, all while her sister distanced herself farther from Lily. Petunia was normal and Lily was a freak, a freak Petunia wanted to be like but couldn’t.

After Lily received her letter, her sister wrote one of her own and it created a bigger rift between the two girls. A daughter with red hair bright like fire and a daughter with golden locks and bright eyes to match. Her parents favored Lily, though they tried not to let it show. She was their special little girl. A special child with a talent that no one else they knew of had.

AT HOGWARTS

Hogwarts was a different experience for her. Severus came with her and they were separated once the hat hit their heads. She was never cut out to be a Slytherin. Yet, she was. She had read too many things in the books and demanded another house. Vivacious, sharp tongue, that girl reeked of a snake. However, Gryffindor called her home. First year went by easier than she thought, and school was the same as Muggle school despite the magical influences. Things didn’t change until fifth year.

A word, mudblood crossed to her ears and a friendship was ruined and tarnished. Severus tried to repair it and Lily would have nothing of it. She refused to be in a friendship with someone who thought so lowly of her and also believed that the Death Eaters weren’t all bad. Their friendship was over. It was during the same year she met Dorcas Meadowes and Emmeline Vance. Dorcas would slowly become her best friend, the Hufflepuff complimented the Gryffindor nicely. Emmeline and her would become too close of study partners. They could always be found in the library.

Currently, in her seventh year, Lily is the Head Girl. Working closely alongside James Potter means a friendship has begun to develop between the two. Lily has recently took up dancing, something she feels will help release some of her anger. Something that she has dealt with since her childhood.

EXTRA BITS

Everyone believes Lily is the perfect girl. However, she’s far from it. Lily is known for sneaking out to the kitchens to bake at four in the morning. She’s also known for her temper, bit of a firecracker she is. She smokes a little too much and alcohol became her friend for awhile. Punk music makes her world go around.

Lily is vivacious, wild and caring. She’s known for singing too loud and being the life of a party. She’s a major Quidditch fan, always in the stands cheering Dorcas on.

CONNECTIONS

JAMES POTTER ✖ [developing friendship] Due to them working together because of them being Heads, they have a friendship developing. James has continued to ask her out despite Lily saying no.

DORCAS MEADOWES ✖ [best friend] Dorcas and Lily met after Lily and Severus’ friendship crumbled. Dor helped pick up the pieces and is working to bring out the wild side of Lily.

EMMELINE VANCE ✖ [study buddy] Meeting just a few weeks after she met Dorcas, Emmeline and Lily became study partners.
