“Yeah this is what I do now, next to my regular civilian job. I mean, it’s not like you aren’t fighting crime. Judging from that weapon of yours you prefer different methods but in the end we’re doing the same thing.” Clark just preferred not brutality killing people in the process but he wasn’t going to bring that up right now. “You do realise that your gun is scaring the shit out of people?”
“Yeah, we are.” Frank was defensive and his trigger finger itched against his thigh. He would never understand the heroes that couldn’t just put down the people who would strike again. It was weak and in the end, fruitless. He shrugged. “Yeah. That’s what it’s supposed to do. I don’t carry it just for the aesthetic.”
