I’m unfollowed almost every ACOTAR account I’m following. This doesn’t mean I’m leaving the fandom, but for my mental health I can’t listen (or look) at the drama and speculation.

I think I just wanna take a step back and not be so involved. I just wanna go back to a casual fan.

I love that Holly Black’s fae always a trait that marks them as “fae”. Ex. Carden’s tail, Oak’s horns and hooves.

Don’t get me wrong, I love SJM fae also. There’s just something about Holly Black’s fae that hits different.

Maybe it’s just me, but it irks me so much when people draw Azriel and Cassian with pointy ears.

They don’t have pointy ears because they’re Illyrian (lesser fae). Feyre even points it out.

Maybe people just forget or maybe AI edits are just stupid.

You know what I love about Holly Black’s “Folk of the Air” trilogy?

The fact that Jude and Carden aren’t “mates”.

They’re literally together because they care about each other. Jude is still human (up to the point I’ve read) and Carden is still like “Yep. That’s my wife. She threatens me on a daily basis, but I couldn’t imagine being with anyone else.”
