I wanted mostly to know what radiation does to human physically and mentally and how it affects environment around them

I dont know if that would be offensive (???) toward the victims of it but I wanted to make OC that has some radioactivity powers just for fun or smth 🥹

Also maybe how a person can get in contact with something radioactive that would make them sick
