Essek was preparing things at the table while Namid dozed off on the sofa, tucked in with her little blanket. The table was filled with many weird things aside from the nailpolish, but Essek seemed to know what he was doing. When he hears Caleb enter, he smiles up at him. "Hello, dear."

"And also a strong one. Clearly I have a type: Strong Mages." Caleb chuckled. "I indeed am! Are you trying to flatter me as much as you can right now?"

"I mean, yes, you are the most handsome now. But even back when you were not part of it, I was not the most handsome. How could I when Fjord and Mollymauk, then Kingsley, existed?"

"They are fine, I guess. But you looked much better than them. Handsome and rough, and when we met you were wearing quite a tasteful outfit."

"Of course only sometimes." Caleb chuckled and shook his head a little. Then he smiled all produly. "I do indeed."

"Not to undermine your taste, since I am in it so it cannot be too bad, but she is a deeply obtuse woman." Essek shakes his head, remembering the times he has had to deal with her. "You even avoided imprisonment from the Bright Queen by handing her her lost relic. You are quite capable."

"And also a strong one. Clearly I have a type: Strong Mages." Caleb chuckled. "I indeed am! Are you trying to flatter me as much as you can right now?"

"I cannot argue with that. But I am just a little bit stronger, yes?" Essek leans on Caleb's shoulder, teasing him. "Maybe so. Or maybe I am just being truthful. I will let you decide which."

"Ja, you are." Caleb said with a grin. "You will? In that case I choose both."

"Good. I will make sure to not tell her." That was a lie, he was going to tell her next time he saw her. "I have you spoiled, young man." Essek gives him a kiss on the cheek. "

"I am fully expecting you to tell her, since I know you well enough by now." Caleb chuckled and pressed a kiss to Essek's forhead. "Ja, you did. Terribly so. I fear that you spoil me every chance you get, Liebling."

"Ah, the plight of being known. I will try not to be too cruel." Essek nuzzles his head against Caleb's shoulder, looking down at Namid who was dozing off in Caleb's arms. "I do not fear it, it is exactly what I want. This is nice."

"Danke, my dearest." Caleb said smiling, feeling very much at peace right now. "Ja, it is nice. I am so gratefull for you in my life. And for our daughter to be in my life as well, of course."

"No need to thank me, svet. I know she is important to you." Essek closes his eyes for a moment with a sigh. "Damn responsibilities. I would stay like this all day if I could. Perhaps the elves of old that just lived in nature were onto something."

"Ja, she is." Caleb said and chuckled softly. "Perhaps they were. I would stay like this too all day if it was to me. But sadly both of have responsibilities now."

Essek groans and hides his face on Caleb's shoulder. "And she does not seem in the mood to be too bothered." Lilianna was completely passed out by now, drooling on Caleb's shirt.

"She is never in the mood to be bothered. I am very much the same when I have lazy days." Caleb chuckled, making sure to not talk too loudly. The last they needed was accidnetly waking her.

"You are, she really is your daughter. You will have to tolerate being bothered by her when she grows up, though. No more lazy mornings." Essek whispers to him, highly amused.

"What if I just make her like lazy mornings like I do?" Caleb whispered all amused, even tho he knew Essek would never let that happen.

"Good luck trying to get a Thelyss to do something you want." Essek chuckles, wearing his stubbornness proudly.

"Well, she is also a Widogast, so maybe it will work." Caleb said with a grin.

"Hm, perhaps. You are very easy to convince after all." Essek teases him, running a finger across his beard.

"Ja, I am. Espacially when you are the one trying to convince me." Caleb said happily and leaned into the touch a little.

"Exactly. Maybe I will even try to convince her to wake you up early every day. Before the sun rises, even." Essek goes on to scratch his beard, seeing as he seemed to lean into it.

Caleb leaned into the scratches with a happy noise. "Mhm. Maybe I would allow you to teach her that and let you get away with it."

"You give me way too much power, dear. You know I cannot be trusted to handle it." Essek chuckles at seeing his fiance so happy.

[professor-caleb-widogast]

"Maybe so. But I am okay with giving you some power over me." Caleb said with a fond smile.

[archivist-seth-domade]

"You indulge too much sometimes." Essek shakes his head and gives him a kiss on the cheek. "People are going to think I have you as a trophy."

[professor-caleb-widogast]

"Well, I am a good catch." Caleb chuckled and kissed Essek's cheek back gently. "I like indulding you."

"You very much are. I still cannot believe I got the most handsome one out of your group, and the smartest one." Essek pushes his hair back from his face.

"I wouldn't say that I am the most handsome one out of my group, but I am indeed the smartest one." Caleb said with a fond smime.

[archivist-seth-domade]

"Well, second most handsome now that I am in it, but you were the most handsome at the time." Essek was anything but humble.

[professor-caleb-widogast]

"I mean, yes, you are the most handsome now. But even back when you were not part of it, I was not the most handsome. How could I when Fjord and Mollymauk, then Kingsley, existed?"

[archivist-seth-domade]

"They are fine, I guess. But you looked much better than them. Handsome and rough, and when we met you were wearing quite a tasteful outfit."

"Surely you are just saying that to flatter me." Caleb said, blushing a bit now.

[archivist-seth-domade]

"Why would I? If I thought they were better, I would have gone for them, yet here we are. In my towers, engaged and with a daughter. I would not lie to you about it." Essek leans on his shoulder to look at him.

"Yeah, I know." Caleb said with a fond smile, his cheeks all pink. "I just-... You know that I struggle with my looks sometimes. I mean, obvoisuly I know that I am not ugly."

"I know, and that is fine. But you should know I do not struggle with how you look, not at all." Essek gives him a little kiss. "I could not have asked for more."

Caleb smiled a little at that and kissed Essek back gently. "I am very glad to hear that."
