an update

so it’s been very clear - I haven’t been that active.

For the past weeks to months I’ve had my hands tied!! It’s because of that I’ve either lacked motivation to work on things here, or I haven’t had the proper time. With this in mind, I want to let it be known I want to do stuff here, but due to certain circumstances I haven’t been able to stick around much.

I suffer from heavy migraines, which halts my progress half the time - I’ve currently been battling my own depression for these past couple weeks - I’ve been trying to work on repairing my grades for school, because obviously I want and need to do well - and, lastly, my grandfather recently passed away.

So I’ve had a lot of my plate.

I’ll try to be active when I can but PLEASE understand, I might vanish for weeks, come back one day, and never be seen for the next two weeks or more. It really all depends.

If you read this <3 I appreciate you, chief. This blog isn’t dead.

But people forget it’s literally in his character description that he assumes everyone can read his mind and knows EXACTLY what hes thinking.

It’s why he doesn’t vocalize a lot of his own thoughts. He doesn’t feel the need to, thinking others know what he’s thinking and feeling.

“Practical?” The delinquent repeated, scoffing with apathy. It was clear he was dismissive towards the idea, lacking interest in the idea of practicality.

“I don’t think it’s possible to be practical, especially knowing the hell we’re currently in.”

It was impossible to be practical, considering that their trip to Egypt sounded like something out of a mere fairy tale - one you might describe to a child...albeit less harsh than the reality. The idea of stands and their users existing made it absolutely unfeasible to think sensibly at all, Jotaro thought, the teen often pushing to break sensibility all the time.

He didn’t seem too hurt by his daughter’s commentary, though the way that she looked at him stung, eyebrows furrowing as his frown stuck, one that could be mistaken for part of his stoic nature, rather than actual emotions. Regardless, he didn’t dare utter a word about it, opting to brush her words aside as though they were nothing but mere unnecessary weight.

To say their relationship had been quite rocky would have been an understatement. Part of him had understood, while the other remained puzzled. It seemed, unlike what he thought, not everyone is a mind reader, capable of reading his own thoughts and emotions. Partially, over time he had slowly began to understand why Jolyne had exactly acted the way she did around him...and as he thought over such, he couldn’t help but think of himself - how his own father was never truly around.

He showed no negativity towards Jolyne taking her mother’s side, nor could he blame her.

ღ: how does my muse feel about displays of affection in public and/or in private?

Jotaro isn’t too affectionate in public, and he prefers privacy overall....He prefers to keep his persona alive and well - and that would be difficult to keep if he were to provide copious amounts of PDA.

At most, you might see hand holding in public...and even then that’d be pushing it. At most his PDA would be subtle things I’ve mentioned before - like asking if his partner is okay or simply holding the door for them (refer to last ask, since that’s what I mentioned)

In private, it’s different. He’s quite affectionate in private quarters, whether it be his own home and somewhere secluded. He’ll be more open to hugs, kisses, the average couple stuff. However, there’s a charm to how he acts - especially considering he acts nothing like this outside.

In short, he prefers private DA over public DA.

💕: how does my muse express their feelings? do they do through small but meaningful gestures, or through bold declarations?

Meaningful gestures. He’d never proclaim his love for his lover out loud. It might be small, meaningful gestures like: Offering to make dinner, giving small minor gifts, or even just things like asking how your day was.

He isn’t a bold person, and if he tries to be - it’s private.

💘: how does my muse act/react when they first realize that they had a crush on somebody?

Whenever he develops a crush - the Kujo will often try to avoid his feelings for some time. He’ll avoid thinking about them, thinking about that person, which can even involve him avoiding them. This doesn’t work in his favor, especially considering he just thinks everyone around him can read what he’s thinking. That’ll create misunderstandings, though that isn’t something he thinks about.

It takes him a little while to truly warm up to his own feelings, and by then he normally shows off said meaningful gestures from before.
