Lockdown
stellaemerson:
âDude, calm your shit,â Stella walked over to help the professor. She reached up and pulled the cords to release the blinds. âNot sure how these blinds are going to help, unless youâre some vampire hiding from the light. Shit can still get through, but whatever itâs fixed,â she rolled her eyes and walked away, finding a chair to slump into. She was agitated, and hungry, and was in desperate need of a charger. She wasnât here to cater to some freaked out professorâs needs.Â
âArenât you supposed to be in charge here? Wanna fill us in?â Stella tapped her fingers on the wooden arm of the chair. She wasnât nervous, she was just annoyed. The seriousness hadnât hit her yet, in her eyes, it was just some overreaction that was causing a major inconvenience in her eyes. âAlso, while youâre at it. Do you store any snacks in that desk?â
Ryan was grateful at Stellaâs actions. Even though she seemed to be annoyed at the situation, at least she had helped him. He took a moment to compose himself, whispering some calming words and closing his eyes. He then turned around and went to the door, checked if it was locked.Â
âI wish I couldâ Ryan responded âUnfortunately I know just about as much as you do. I know that itâs a lockdown, which means none of this was planned beforehand.â When she asked for snacks, he simply murmured âbottom rightâ before continuing âWe should stay put here, stay away from the windows, and wait for someone to tell us itâs alright to leave.â
