havent played the game in 5ever so idk if theres anything in canon that would contradict or support this (doubt it but ya never know) but i've always headcanoned haruka as closeted transmasc in a bit of denial about it. he can kind of tell something's up but can you imagine how much of a hassle that would be? how much trouble it would cause? its probably nothing anyway and hes better off not thinking about it.
