Update

Hey guys, sorry I’ve been out for touch for ages! been very busy looking for jobs and pitching the documentary.

I lost my book of passwords for all my million emails haha, but I’m back now!  I hope everyone is doing well, the show wen amazingly, I was really happy with the out come of the publics reactions, a lot of people coming up to me saying how they will watch the news on topics like this differently, and see it from the perpetrators point of view. 

Will do a bigger post soon when i’m less busy, currently spending everyday look for jobs and writing cover letters! super fun! Lucy xx

i really love your project! i could literally feel the chill when i watched the video. and it somehow really touched me and hit me that this is not only a serious issue,but it's also real. i'm so glad that you made this project. it can help a lot of people and i believe it will also open a lot of people's eyes and minds. too bad i knew about this project a little late,because i'd like to share some of my thoughts about bullying and columbine too. anyway,thank you for sharing this with us! :)

This is the space I’m working with for the show.  On the wall without the decorative wall art stuff, Is going to be a wall of these posters (archive images)  In the decorative wall is the poem. 

On the shelf will be a stack of black bullet belts or small guns, lined up not sure yet. 

Theres going to be a 2 meterish plinth infront of the shelfed wall. With a 27ich IMAC, with 2 sets of headphones, and 4 booklets.

Book 1: The interviews, 

2: A list/clipbook of last years mass shootings in America, No.374, 

3: book of articles that are cut up/designed with references to why this keeps happening.  4: Book of shooters diaries. Pages/extracts from diaries.  And two black stools for people to set and watch/read. As it is a 20min film

CALL OUT FOR POET

Hello people, and new followers! I cant believe the reactions to the film, its been amazing to read all the responses! I’m so proud of it and happy you have all enjoyed watching it! The project isn’t over yet! I still have an exhition to put up for this project, along side my fellow students at the royal college of art in London, England. @maureenforensicks is coming from The Netherlands to have a first hand look and to meet up on the 26th of June, if you are local or fancy and weekend away to London, to see the show and be a have a holiday, please do so :) POET. Is anyone up for writing a short poem for my exhibition. That I would print big for my wall space. The peom can be about columbine, this community, gun laws in America, or high school. or ALL or whatever. The Deadline would be 11:30p.m tonight english time. (I know its short notice but i think it would be amazing.) MESSAGE ME

Proofing

One of my tutors watched the film yesterday, she loved it, mentioned a view small edits, but over all she said she was on the edge of her seat. Proof reading all the interviews, its incredible just how much you all have in common. What you’ve been through and the realisations you’ve had.  Some made me a bit teary, you are all so mature for you’re ages, very inspiring!

Which i’m making business cards for the show with that link on.  I’m currently making the interview book, So I wont be taking anymore at this point! Everyone is anonymous in it like the film, so don’t worry about anything getting back to you.

Also making mock ups of my space for my end of year show, which I’ll post some time this week. ALSO I PASSED MY MASTERS :D
