Prompt: Tevinter, Once We Were Free Submitted by @calwyne
In a rare moment of respite, you glance through the open window in your master’s study. The plains stretch out before you for miles, only grass, dust, and the occasional acacia tree gracing the horizon. You’ve heard the stories of old Arlathan. Tales are whispered in the shadows from slave to slave among sandstone columns and richly woven tapestries, tales of a fierce and proud people whose blood runs hot in your own veins, and there are some who fervently believe those stories will once again walk the paths of truth.
You wonder if you would even live to see that day.
