Four years after having finished his 4th album „Happy Breakup Everybody“ „Filmpalast“ returns...and shuts up to play his guitar! Ambient electric guitar music, solo performed with no overdubs and essential editing in one Sunday afternoon. „Live At Villa Dufte“ is a 3 Track EP of slow motion ambient music that also embraces the harmonic moments. Improvisation, instant composing, everything created here and now from the depth of his soul. Dirk Schilling is not only an outstanding producer of electronic dance music, a great songwriter and extraordinary singer...he is first and for good a unique and highly skilled guitar player who brings it all together...enjoy the trip!

A punk rock bass player that is a die hard rockabilly fan, a heavy metal drummer that became a jazz singer and a noisy guitar player producing electronic music for years, before he became an experimental guitarist…that#s the material Cologne based instrumental rock trio „DieNichtWissenWasSieTun!“ or simply DNWWST! are made of. The 30 minute 3 tracks of their debut album “Affengeist” range from heavy experimental rock to easy floating head cinamatic music with beautiful meldodies. Improvised, composted in the moment, live recorded they proove their highly skilled musicanship. Enjoy the trip!

„Dynopol“ is a creation of two gentlemen who#d like to be referred to as „Mr. Fox“ and „Captain Desert“. And, as their website states it:“...prefer to let the music speak for itself.“ Yes it is melancholic and yes, it#s electronic music. We prefer to listen to it in the dark with our headphones on high volume. But that#s just a personal preference. Yours sincerely, Mr. Fox & Captain Desert
„Filmpalast“'s trip beyond musical genres continues with his 4. full length album.„Happy Breakup Everybody!“ Yes, a breakup album...that skips the whiny phase! It grooves, rocks and bounces and is an expression of a new lease on life and dwindling despair. Recorded live in two days with a bunch of old and new friends to celebrate love, music and friendship...and to generate songs that hopefully make it on your ultimate „breakup song tape“! What does it sound like? Imagine „The Talking Heads“ „The Clash“ and “Elvis Costello” play at the „From Dusk Till Dawn“ Bar!
After producing music ranging across the whole spectrum of the electronic genre he felt like wanting to go 'home' and recorded 'Birth Of The Perfectly Known Stranger' in two days in the most intimate atmosphere there was for him...his living room. No editing, no overdubs, just the songs, his acoustic guitar and voice... Here are some first reactions: 'Fascinating lyrics!!!' 'I love the raw simplicity of his songs...' 'Hypnotic and beautiful.' 'Who knew that one man and his guitar could take a listener to so many places within one album. What may well be a personal journey through the singer's autobiographical romances and reflections, 'Birth Of The Perfectly Known Stranger' nonetheless brings the listener into their own world. So on that note, put it on, drift away and let yourself be wrapped up in a big, warm hug.' 'A heartrending voice grown from the roots of Eno, Cohen and Sylvian.' 'Little Sensation" has a melody that wraps you up in your first love story, pulls you to your first interlude, surrounds you, where the music is made to grab your shoulders, slowly...pulls you back or even brings you just there, where you give yourself over to that first feeling...' (Original Release Note Projektor 2008)
Marlene Dietrich on Acid?
Sehr sweet. Und je sweeter desto besser.” (DeBug Review by Bleed)
