frustration, noun — i. the volcanic explosion that ERUPTS from your lips, sulphur and ash. pompeii is burning. london is burning. earth is burning — here the world ends in smoke and flame, and, with ashen hands, you stand at the epicentre of destruction. ii. the anguish as your body refuses to obey, knows better than you, better than anyone, chaos is all it is and beauty is all it isn’t. iii. the DROWNING, the helpless struggle against a murky descent, a futility to be more than everything you are, to shine as bright as every light you’ve snuffed out; but that’s the thing about stars that explode, deceptively eternal flames that disappear from the night sky, they become black holes, a dark destruction and that’s ( you body tells you as it makes each flame too small, too large, too messy to be spectacular, too chaotic to mimic his beauty ) all you are, all you’ll ever be.
