The trainer shook her head with a nervous smile as she pushed past her own self-consousness.
âN-No-! No, that is alright. I just didnât exactly expect it is all.â
Sighing, the remainder of her anxiety seemed to leave her and her smile became more genuine once more, although she was a bit too tired to meet his eyes again, so she simply staired into the tea in front of her.
âI confess I am better at handling Ice-types, my first Pokemon was a Sneasel but- I was raised in a rather cold city, there is a great deal of Ice-Types that made their home there. They were both beautiful and kind when I saw them as a child, I suppose I felt drawn to them.â
A stray hair had fallen from behind her ear, and she took the time to carefully tuck it back again. Sarah chanced a look up to his face, seeing him still paying attention made her smile grow slightly.
âAlthough there isnât a Pokemon I havenât liked, perhaps if I hadnât have been particularly profissiant with Ice I might have been a more well-rounded trainer when I was younger- not that I regret it.â
Oh, she must have been babbling by then, that was embarasing. She cleared her throat gently before bringing the tea cup to her lips.
âWhat about you sir? Do you specialize in a particular type?â
It was pleasing to see how relaxed the woman became as they talked about her specialties. To be more accurate, it was a pleasing sight. In contrast to the stereotypes heâd often seen ice users have, the woman hardly seemed âfrosty.â Perhaps, he silently noted how Sarah made sure he was paying attention --- and he definitely was, she simply didnât get the chance to speak as freely as sheâd liked.Â
Remy tilted his head slightly as the question was returned to him, quirking a brow before shaking his head all the same. Had she forgotten just why he had come to meet her so easily? Well, he was pleased to see that he was good company then.
Even so, he let out a breathless laugh, âghosts types are my specialty.â He leaned forward and lowered his voice as if someone were to listen in on them. âIt comes with the job, you know.â He wasnât about to mentioned how theyâve been in the company of various of them right now.Â
And then he leaned back, âI donât imagine having a rounded team would be entirely beneficial either. At least in the sense of having various specialties. Perhaps, a small, nit group --- befitting an average trainer. We canât all be young prodigies.âÂ
The waiter came just then, delivering their snacks -- his was just the light toast. Jam was set on the side of his plate along with butter. He busied himself with them idly, using it more as another distraction than actually being hungry.
âWell, I suppose I should be asking more about what has been happening to you now.â
