This page is dedicated to our collection of prompt meme events held over on AO3. The goal is to upload a new event once a week (don't hold me to that) for the foreseeable future. Each event will be open-ended with no official timeline to create a low stress, fun event for all involved.

Today's prompt meme is all about fairytale retellings.

How would your favourite's deal with a Cinderella situation? Would they be the Big Bad Wolf or Little Red?

It's still in it's early days so if you come across any issues (I'm using some new bots) please let me know, but we are open for business.

Again, there is no obligation to join and if you do join please feel free to be as active or inactive as you are comfortable with. Just like the events, this is a very low pressure place!

Over the next few days I'll be working on a small discord server for this series of events. There's no pressure to join, and even if you do, there's no pressure to be more involved than you're comfortable with.

This will simply make it that much easier for you to reach out with any questions or suggestions. We'll likely have votes to see which theme our next prompt memes will be, and you'll have the opportunity to suggest future themes as well.

Introducing Prompt Me Kindly's First Event...It Takes A Little Time

This week's prompt meme is all about throwing our favourites into different time periods.

Maybe you want to see how the Stranger Things gang would handle life in the victorian days. Perhaps Geralt, Yennefer and Jaskier might enjoy a little 80's glam rock.

Whatever the fandom, whatever the time period, this event is for you.

ps. this is our very first prompt meme so please be gentle!

General Rules

These are our general rules. Please ensure you read the rules for individual events for any extras that may need to be included.

This event has an open-ended timeline. That means there are no cut offs for prompts, claims or fills.

Submit/claim as many prompts as you like.

If you change your mind, it's okay to unclaim a prompt, no one is going to chase you with pitchforks!

You do not need to claim a prompt to leave a prompt.

Multiple creators can claim the same prompt.

All works must be complete upon submission.

There is no minimum or maximum word limit. Let the prompt take you where it wants to.

Works must be stand-alone, not part of a series or universe that the prompter may not have already read.

This event isn't just for writing. Podfics, fanart, fanvids, whatever medium you use to create fanworks is welcomed. With that in mind, please ensure when submitting a prompt you detail what you'd be happy to accept.

When submitting a prompt please be sure to add in any major do not wants. Claimants will be expected to adhere to these.

Most importantly, have fun and be kind to one another.
