“You should really have learned by now that there’s pretty much always some kind of party going on, Harp. Wouldn’t be me if there wasn’t.” Jeremy tone was light, even as he reclined back in his seat, legs propped up in front of him. “What were you after, then? If it wasn’t a good time, not sure what else you could need from me.”
“Don’t remind me, because this is clearly why I wanted to be partnered up with someone else. Apparently though we’re supposed to follow orders by the book around here.” Jeremy never seemed to follow orders though. There was a new party going on every single weekend and Harper had a whole pile of invitations stacked up. He just groaned slightly as he narrowed his eyes over at the other man. “Our job, I just remembered. We’re the ones that have to secure the barrier tonight and keep an eye out, so please don’t get too drunk.”
