She’s drinking dandelion root tea

Longing for something more precious

Wondering

“Does the world unify for a song at life’s end?”

Does every ant and dragonfly and piece of moss

Debate on what to load into the pipe?

Anarchy is in my pen

I think I’d prefer a farmer as the president

There’s strength in the common man

My neighbor is my friend

I’m sick of society’s totem pole

Watching my people struggling at the bottom

Fuck it, we’re philosophers and junkies

But girl, our heart is true

You should etch it in the stone at our gravesites

“We deserved better”

We should throw a party while the meteors fall

As of today I just finished writing “NECRON 99” and that makes 43 writing projects I’ve completed. Thousands of poems written. That’s called hard work and perseverance ladies and gentlemen. You don’t have to work a 9 to 5 to get shit done. You just need discipline, effort, and a vision. We ain’t done yet ✊
