There is no such thing as a "harmful paraphilia" because an attraction, no matter how abnormal, atypical or uncomfortable it makes you, it can not harm someone. An attraction does not harm. People do.
i think the argument of "obviously paraphiles don't want to have a sexual/romantic relationship with the objects of their attraction, especially paraphiles attracted to a type of harm or beings who cannot consent" is an argument made purely to placate paramisics and make them more comfortable.
i can't speak for all paraphiles, but it would be disingenuous for me to say, for example, that i don't want to get fucked by a dog, or raped by an older man. i'm attracted to those things, so why should i sanitise my attraction? why should i pretend to only feel my attraction in ways that are "comfortable" or easy to stomach? verbalising it is not the same as acting on it, and my paraphilic attractions are the only "normal" attractions i experience as a sex-repulsed aroace.
but me bluntly stating that i want to act on my attractions does not equal actual harm. i want to have sex with an animal, but that would be harmful and abusive to the animal, so i don't. i want to be raped by an older man, but that would be harmful for me, so i don't. acting as if "paraphiles saying they want to fuck the object of attraction = acting on their attraction and causing harm" is paramisic and illogical. acting as if paraphiles are incapable of basic morals is paramisic and illogical. we're not beasts that are controlled by our scary and unusual attractions, and you don't get to try and sanitise our community and attractions just because you feel uncomfortable.

That promise of a “prettier world” was nothing more than a lie to get the child to unravel his true potential.
...Though he couldn't deny the weird thrill it gave him to see the boy act so primally. Biting the heads off the Hu.ggy plushies? He was perfect.
Isolation sessions post-operation went just as well as you’d assume with a man as twisted as the doctor; there’s a reason Ya.rnaby views the doctor as his “master,” and that reason is highly associated with the way he constantly referred to himself with such a title around him, both pre and post-operation. His soft, cotton body... god, it was perfect for him.
B.aba, however, was a bit of a different story.
Nothing specifically set her apart from the rest of the orphans within Pl.aycare—so she didn’t get picked for that reason. Instead, she simply served as a practice experiment. Ha.rley never even bothered learning her real name, simply referring to her as the name of her character, even before her operation, even when she was under his care as his “child.”
She hated the doctor at first. Hated him for doing what he did to her—and as a practice test at that! She wasn’t even worth anything like the rest of the experiments, she was just here to serve as some kind of guinea pig!
However, he had a way of making her feel good about that; when he wanted something from her, he’d always talk about how useful she was, how perfectly she came out, how he was so glad he chose her to be one of his subjects... he had no idea what her family background was before she wound up in Pl.aycare, but it obviously wasn’t good, with how happy it made her when he praised her in such a mild, dehumanizing manner.
Eventually, through isolating her the same way he did Ya.rnaby, she too wound up as just another mindless toy at his command. She was much like him in other ways, as well—god, he loved the texture of cotton squeezing his body, so soft and inviting... he definitely missed it once he was converted.
They both missed him terribly after he had been converted to the factory’s devices, yearning for the way he treated them—too mind-broken to remember anything besides that feeling good, physically or mentally.
Of course, Ha.rley couldn’t care less—it’s why he hardly reacted to their deaths at the hands of the “angel.” They were simply toys at the end of the day, and they failed the sole purpose they had at that moment... it was only a matter of time.
