âŁDaddy Calls
â âIâm not even going to touch on why I was upset. Itâs only 5 minutes, so thatâs not too much harm done.âÂ
Rohan flashes a playful grin at Allen then, a certain glint in his eye signaling his now comfortable mood because of the two. Regardless of tardiness, he enjoyed their company, so being around them didnât take too long to make him just that much more peppy. Not too much, however. This is Rohan weâre talking about.Â
â âNext time, Allen just⌠try to keep a better eye on the time. And Iâll be sure to text you before I leave the house. Now that thatâs out of the way, first thingâs first, where do you want to go to eat?âÂ
It wasnât even necessary to point out that it was his treat. Thatâs how it always went, and now bared the semblance of common knowledge.
â Elfy, shut up. â Â He wouldâve hit the kid if Rohan wasnât there. Â This was the only thing he said to the little shit before directing his attention to the mangaka.
He wasnât mad? Â Well, Allen definitely wasnât complaining. Â it was nice to be in a relationship with such a forgiving guy. Â âIâll do better~.â Â His tone made the comment sounds teasing, almost sarcastic in a way, even though he meant it.
â Eat?  UhâŚâ  His eyes drifted over to Elfy.  Allen really wasnât the best decision maker, this was something most people knew, and he didnât really care where they went, as long as their weird little family was together.
â Were you wanna go, Elfy? â
âHm?â Everything seemed to fall on the pointy-eared american, it seemed- now they had to decide where to eat? Thank goodness they had great taste. There were a couple cafeâs in Morioh they could go to, or a restaurant if they wanted to indulge a bit⌠But a  cafe would do juuuust fine.
âHow about⌠Cafe Deux Magots? Theyâre pretty good, yeah? Unless yaâll wanna go somewhere else instead. I think a Cafe is nice for now.â
â âThe cafe is actually a fine idea. I didnât want to eat too heavy to begin with.âÂ
That said, the mangaka silently makes his way over to the drivers side of the car, opening the door, before stopping. Just as he was about to duck his way behind the wheel, he pulls himself back up to flash an almost playful glare at the duo. His joking tone aside, the severity behind his words were clear to those who knew him.
â âIf I hear either of you arguing over who gets âshotgunâ, youâre both walking back home. So work something out before getting into the car.âÂ
