Young Filipinas (ages 15-24) in 2013 mostly knew where to buy a condom, but less than half were willing to buy alone.

Don’t be ashamed to buy condoms by yourself! Your partner may not have one and it’s always best to be prepared. You shouldn’t have to worry about the cashier judging you as you hand over the money for a pack - you are an independent woman being health-conscious and making her own perfectly responsible choices.

A 2013 study by Guttmacher Institute revealed that very few adolescent Filipinas were aware of when their fertile period occurred. Are you one of them?

FACT: the fertile period is the time during your menstrual cycle when  pregnancy is most likely to occur.  It lasts on average of 6 days and is made up of the days before, during, and right after ovulation.
