After the cashier took their orders, she handed them both their receipts which caused Tom to smile amused. “And now, Amara, I’m worried about you.” he teased as he walked to the pick up side of the counter. 

amara raised an eyebrow. “hmm? why would you be worried about me?” she asked as she followed him.

“oh, definitely by then.” she laughed, before ordering his drink and pulling her own wallet from her purse.
