Customer Review: 105 HD Bender with Hydraulic Conversion Kit

I like using my Pro-Tools HD 105 Bender because it’s great having Pro-Tools in my backyard.  When I decided to upgrade with the Hydraulic Conversion Kit it made bending much more efficient.

Instagrammer of the Week: Robert Redd from Rail Buggy

I’ve been using my Pro-Tools 105HD Bender with Hydraulic conversion kit, 500 Racer Notcher, Large Radius Bender, and the Bend Tech PRO software for a few years now.  It been a really great bender and hasn’t given me one problem yet.  Right now I’m doing fabrication work for friends as a hobby but I hope to make it a full time job one day. You can see some one of my latest builds below.  It’s an all terrain buggy with Volkswagon suspension and a custom chassie.

Up next, I’m getting ready to start work on a Jeep Wrangler with Tyler.  We’ll be putting on a custom bumper and lift kit.  It’ll be my first Jeep build, so I’m pretty excited.

"I’ve had my Pro-Tools 105HD Bender for 5 or 6 years now and it hasn't given me one problem. It’s always preformed flawlessly!! I also have the electric/hydraulic conversion and it was money well spent. Once you become comfortable with the machine you can produce parts quickly without any issues, which is definitely saying something coming from a guy who is self taught (with some help from friends every now and again!).  I would recommend the 105HD and hydraulic kit as a great setup for anyone in the industry looking to bend a wide variety of materials. I tip my hat to all of the guys at Pro-Tools for giving people like myself the ability to do what we love! Thanks guys!!!

"First off I want to take a second to say I really appreciate the recognition!! I haven't gotten much recognition since I began fabricating. Little things like this help make the headaches worth it, so I’d definitely encourage others to share their photos with the Pro-Tools team. They really care about what their customers are building with their tools.

The purple and grey chassis is a bagged Nissan Hard body that I’m building for my fiancé. The truck was originally supposed to be a simple quick build so she had something to drive and show along side of me and my bagged Nissan, but one thing lead to another and before we knew it, we’re on our way to building a full show truck.  Every inch of the truck has been worked over and I have done every bit of the work by myself! Hopefully it will be completed sometime this year."
