"Fragile Handle With Care"
Roman Pankoy
People saying Ebola "poses no threat to the West" are missing the innate humanity of public health/infectious disease prevention.
Yah ok, for now there is no risk, but we need to understand that A) pathogens see no borders and B) we need to care about EVERYONE if we hope to contain this outbreak. The DRC, and typically most of West Africa, has to deal with this virus every few years, and, for the love of god, we need to care.
Ebola is particularly evil in its actions...deadly, travels through bodily fluids, preventing care of the ill and dead due to fear of continued spread.
I'm not trying to fear monger here. You don't need to hunker down and scream in terror. We just need to stop pretending the West is immune to these pathogens. We need to care about other people.
It matters before it hits American/European soil

hey my menty ill bitches do we know anything about luvox
idk how old this post is but Luvox has genuinely changed my life. I'm so much happier. I can eat more. Life doesn't feel so heavy. My thoughts are mutable and I stopped ruminating all together.
I'm on 100mg. I was on 50mg but that didn't do much (I have OCD and I've heard you may need higher doses for that particular diagnosis). My only regret is that I didn't start it sooner

NASA's going to announce the Artemis III crew June 9 and I will be normal about it
a little personal response / tribute to "here's the life i've always longed for" by Anna Haifisch. the original means so much to me, and even though it's hard, I feel like every day i'm making more steps toward finally being on the other side of that fence <:)
