Not to be controversial, but the last few months have been very hard

Today, without meaning to, I remembered something from about a year and a half ago. It was something I didn’t fully process at the time that it happened and managed to push away until now. I wasn’t assaulted, but someone I trusted tried to pressure and manipulate me into something I very clearly wasn’t comfortable with. There are a lot of things going on in my brain right now and I just want to leave them here so I can get some sleep and deal with them later.

Regardless of where you stand on the “did James cheat” issue, the fact remains that they believe that “the worst thing that I ever did was what I did to you,” so they must feel that they hurt Betty in a pretty significant way. It’s also abundantly clear that they hurt August, and we see absolutely no remorse from James on that front. So regardless of whether it was cheating or not, I do not forgive James. Thanks for coming to my ted talk.
