i first noticed this connection between shizuku and the color purple while looking at the Flower Fairy costumes waaaay back when i started the game
in the concept art for the costume, Murakami Yuichi uses minori and miku as models, and so i assumed the costumes were designed based on more more jump (ignoring the fact that a later illustration has miku with ichika instead). and for the most part, this lines up. except...

idk. maybe purple signifies Cheerful * Days and shizuku's past. maybe the artists didn't want to just keep giving her monotone designs and settled on purple as a secondary color. either way its a kewl detail :3
