ps. there is no right no wrong to draw things. there’s only it’s look weird, suck, good or whatever your words….which depend on people’s taste. mine is weird tho. _(:3J L)_
Variable Action Heroes Trafalgar Law x P. O. P. Corazon & Law
Wolf and flower crown
I found you, my treasure.
That moment when you realize that all of the clothes that they are wearing in Film Gold were bought during the color spread of Chapter 811. Eiichiro Oda you sneaky bastard.
So Law’s shirt does have a design on it. His shoulder tattoo is plastered onto the side. Should have known that everything Law wears has a little bit of Cora-san Symbology on it. Who the hell makes him all of these custom shirts!? I need to know these things!! I suppose right now it’s probably Kin’emon. But what about everything else!?
I was working on my Japanese Homework when I had a revelation about Law at the end of Dressrosa as well as about Corazon’s “I love you” and figured I might as well share: When Bellemere died, she looked to Nami and Nojiko and said “I love you” And used the Japanese word “Daisuki (大好き)” When Corazon last looked at Law he said “I love you” but used “Aishiteruze(愛してるぜ).” Suki (好き), in Japanese, means “To like.” Making it Daisuki turns it into “really like” “am very fond of” or “I love you” depending on the context. It’s the most common form that the phrase “I love you” takes the shape of and is often the only form used between people. Aishiteru (愛してる), on the other hand, is a very heavy, strong, and rarely used word in Japanese. Many Japanese people go their whole lives without ever using it because in Japanese culture, verbally expressing Love is something they are hesitant to express openly (preferring to show love instead) and especially of the Aishiteru kind. To use Aishiteru is to, in effect, tell someone that “I love you so much that I can’t imagine my life without you in it.” It’s never something that you use casually (if you ever use it at all). The “ze” attached to the end of Aishiteru just makes it a more casual and “cool” or “manly” way of saying it. So when Cora-san looks at Law and says “Aishiteruze” he is, in effect, saying: “I love you and I literally can’t imagine you not being a part of my life anymore, and I am saying this in the most casual and manly way possible, okay?” That was the strength of Corazon’s love for Law. But Law didn’t know that at the time. He was young and had probably never once heard the word being used before and probably thought Cora-san was just being a dork. He wouldn’t really understand it until his talk with Sengoku among the rubble of Dressrosa… Law probably didn’t realize that Corazon had loved him so deeply until Sengoku had told him to stop sullying Rosinate’s love with imagined requirements and conditions and then Law remembered. With wide eyes he remembered Corazon’s exact words to him: “Oi, Law. Aishiteruze.” I love you, and it finally hit him. He finally realized and understood just how strong and unconditional Corazon’s love for him had been. And finally, finally, Law found the resolution he had been searching for. The relief that Doflamingo’s defeat hadn’t given him. The freedom from his past that he so desired… and it brought him to the brink of tears. (let’s admit he would have cried if Fujitora hadn’t ruined the moment) (All I wanted to do was write that I love cats, not punch myself in the face with feels about Law’s flashback again. Excuse me while I cry in the corner.) (It’s a shame these things don’t translate well into english)
i also want an explanation on this
I don’t dare to imagine what happen after Corasan use the lighter.

So cute I have to ruin it.
Genos related Q&A in the OPM databook
Q: How did Saitama manage to get by before he became a pro hero?
A: By living frugally and saving money.
(Caption: He lives a slow paced life and his finances are always dire. ONE sensei states that he doesn’t use Genos’ rent money.)
Murata: How was this again?
ONE: When he was financially troubled, he did part time jobs. He would save up and then spend the money he had frugally. Sometimes, he received vegetables from the people he saved…
He lived a slow-paced life. By the way, he hasn’t touched the money Genos gave him and his standard of living hasn’t changed that much despite Genos moving in.
Q: When Genos came to live with Saitama, he had a huge bag on his back. What are its contents?
A: Spare parts, paraphernalia needed for living.
(Caption: It seems that Genos has brought most of his stuff with him, so he doesn’t need to mooch off Saitama’s things.)
ONE: He gathered his parts and essential living supplies and came with them.
Murata: He probably also had parts for housework!
ONE: He does small repairs himself, like if he breaks his wrist. He doesn’t need to go to Dr. Kuseno’s place every time because he already has the spare parts. He does go when he needs a big repair, goes through a big upgrade or to receive scheduled check-ups.
Q: Saitama Sensei and Genos live together, but is the housework solely Genos’ responsibility?
A: No.
(Caption: When he switches to his housework arms, he has the ability of a first rate housewife. In fact, he looks just like a wife?)
Murata: I think it’s like, Saitama tells him he doesn’t need to, but Genos still does it anyway.
ONE: Yes, that’s the feeling I get as well~
It’s not as if Saitama is making him do it, but even when there’s nothing to do, Genos starts tidying things up, washes the dishes.
Murata: I draw him with the idea that he has parts for housework.
Q: What was Genos like when he was a normal student?
A: (ONE sensei’s answer) Not that different from right now.
(Caption: He was a responsible, diligent boy from the start. He probably was an eyesore for the thugs.)
Q: When did Genos get his piercings?
A: (ONE sensei’s answer) After he became a cyborg.
(Caption: He has round piercings on each ear. According to ONE sensei, they don’t seem to be just for appearance.)

rather important translation clarification from chapter 798 because mangapanda was rather confusing (thanks to aohige at apforums for this):
mangapanda has Sengoku telling Law to ‘not go writing off him [Cora] saving you as an act of love or something’ which isn’t the most clear statement, but the actual conversation is this:
“But now that it’s over, Law doesn’t know if this is the life of “D” Cora-san wished for him to live. Law tells Sengoku that both he and the Straw Hat has the name of D, and asks him if knows anything about it. But Sengoku refuses to answer his question, and lets him know Roci did not know either. He tells Law that Roci didn’t save him because he was a D. Don’t attempt to give reasoning to the love you received from him.”
So that ends up being a lot clearer and a lot more satisfying.
