Girllll when I saw your account I almost cried!!!
As a black girl myself, I really wish the rest of the community knew it’s okay to be feminine. So many other black girls compliment the hell out of me when I wear my girliest outfits and they always tell they wish they had my confidence. And for them to even say that is such a huge problem, it makes me so sad! Especially with the younger girls. As black girls, and poc in general, we NEED to make a change and put an end to insecurity in our communities!
i’m really glad you relate! i 100% agree, its sad that it even has to come down to this. not only that, it’s okay to feminine, but also it’s okay to be feminine with your ethnic features & natural hair/natural hairstyles, & embracing your culture. you don’t have to fit into society standards to be “feminine” nor “hyperfeminine.” that’s honestly what i’m trying to get noir gyal to target! keep being your authentic, dolly self! ❤︎ ❤︎ ❤︎ ❤︎
