Wait what?
Thank you. -she grins- I like yours too. I kind of want to dye mine that dark.
Thanks. Yeah? I think it'd look cool with your eye color and your skin tone. Besides, you can always dye it back if you don't like it.

Nah, I’ve had worse ideas in the past.
A worse idea than that? No way. What's a worse idea than givin' teenagers the liberty to throw balloons at you?
Wait what?
-she has to glance at her hair before replying- Uh yeah. Yes, it is.
Oh. Interestin'. I thought so, but I wanted to make sure. [pauses] It's nice, by the way. It suits you.
Wait what?
Sorry. I wasn’t really listening.
I was askin' you if that's natural. Your hair color, I mean. I'm just curious.
Well, I told my students that if they could get on the honor roll I’d let them throw water balloons at me when school started back up… One of them filled their balloon up with paint..
Maybe that wasn't your best idea. Weren't you expecting them to pull somethin' like that? I mean, they're teenagers.
Oh. Yeah, I know I’m pretty dirty. I was rummaging around the library ruins earlier. I haven’t gone home to change yet. Sorry.
You don't have to apologize. I was lettin' you know for your sake, not mine.
Did you find what you were lookin' for?
Are you suggesting I take off my shirt?
Obviously not. I'm suggestin' you clean it.
Why? Because I started poking into your past? You don’t have to be so sensitive.
And you don't have to be such a fuckin' asshole. Seriously, can't you take a fuckin' hint?
Is that your way of trying to get me to take my clothes off? Because it’s not working.
Thought I made it obvious that I didn't want to see your sorry face ever again.
Oh really? Man and I like this shirt…A LOT! I’m so bummed out.
It's not that bad. I mean, you could get it out if you treated it soon enough.
Is it really that noticeable? I didn’t think people would see it.
Seriously? It's sort of... well, everywhere. How'd you manage to do that?
You've got a little something right there... all over there, actually. You might want to change your clothes.
Oh, wow!
This is the cutest little cafe I’ve ever been in. It’s so quaint!
Quaint?
Or what? Will the big bad Higher Authority get me too?
Or maybe someone else will. In my experience, I've learned that people don't like it when you pry into their business too much.
Sort of. I’m a cameraman. Doesn’t mean I’m not curious though
Yeah, well, sometimes too much curiosity is a bad thing. Try not to go around asking people about it too much.
Yeah I did. Hey, do you know anything about that guy that went missing
I'm gonna take a wild guess and say that you're a reporter or somethin'.
demons | | prudence & mary
Her nightmares always started the same way; she was fishing around her pockets for her keys, just as she had the day she died. The sound of the keys jingling around in her pocket combined with her muttered curse words were enough to drown out any sounds that he made from behind her. Finally, she'd take the keys from her pocket and jam one into the lock before opening it, walking in, and throwing the keys onto the table beside the door. She'd then call for her boyfriend and get no response.
Prudence always knew when he was coming. It was at the exact moment that she unzipped her jacket that he crept into the house behind her. And although she knew in her mind that she was there, somehow she just couldn't make herself move. Somehow, he still surprised her and he still got her. He still hurt her, and he still killed her in the same way he always did.
This time, she was shaken awake.
Prudence jolted up, blue eyes widened as she looked around for the person who'd woken her. When her eyes landed on brown ones that she recognized, her cheeks burned. She'd actually fallen asleep in the park, right on the bench. She hadn't meant to do so. She'd just been so exhausted that she wanted to take a quick break before heading home and ended up passing out right there.
"Sorry," She apologized, avoiding the redhead's gaze. "Uh, am I in your seat? I can move."
