Me, Photography & the future 🌅
Hi everyone, PrueShy here! Just wanted a moment to share a bit about myself, my photography and my future plans (a bit of speaking out-loud!) But first, for those who actually read this post, a massive thank you in advance, it really means a lot 🩷
Photography will always be a massive hobby of mine, taking photos of flowers, plants, scenery, the places I’ve been to and ad hoc things. I'm not a flower/plant expert at all, but I love how the colours and how pretty they are. Ultimately, I wanted to share these with you, instead of them sitting in my camera roll, hence I started my Tumblr account.
I'm also a complete beginner to photography, and for all the photos I've posted so far, I've used an iPhone or my old Samsung Camera! I've had a few ups, downs, hiatuses and learning curves while figuring out how to take photos and to manage a photography account. I added my signature on my photos (don’t do it) and then began my own photography account... which didn’t go that well haha (was a bit too optimistic there 😅 )
Plus, taking A LOT OF PHOTOS does mean it takes time going through them all and finding the time to post. I've tried my best, but I've been busy pursuing other things in life and this has been on the back seat. I still take photos of the things I love, but posting them has been a bit more challenging.
Now despite that, I’ve been thinking about what else I can do to share my passion for photography with people, plus to better my skills. I'm investing into a better camera which is giving me motivation 📷 and the outlook to start fresh by making an Instagram account! Tumblr has been great in how you can put multiple photos of different positions in one post. But Instagram has been my main social media platform and I’m fairly familiar with it.
It will be the same name - @prueshy_photography, and I'll post any recent photos I’ve taken or where I’ve been. That doesn’t mean I won't re-share/post old photos, but I will be selective. I'll also make the most out of Instagram stories to share any one-off things. In addition, I'm thinking of branching out into sports photography for a bit, which will allow me to learn more about photography and expand my passion. Regardless, I'll be sharing what I capture 😊
Will I still be posting on Tumblr... still undecided. I still have tulip photos and miscellaneous photos left, so once those have been posted, I'll start working on my Instagram account. Plus I'm leaning towards keeping my Tumblr account solely nature/landscapes, so if I do take any sports photos, they will be on Instagram.
So that’s a bit of a long update! I want to be as genuine and authentic as I can, like with the flowers and nature I capture! Thank you for the love you’ve shown and thank you again if you’ve read all of this 🥰
