He understood her heartache, and knew it might never heal. “Roza...” he mumured, his fingers combing through her hair, a kiss pressed to the crown of her head. “We CAN’T CHANGE the past. I know you were trying to help, and you had your heart in the RIGHT PLACE.” She always had her heart in the right place - it was one of the many things he loved about her. The situation regarding Mason was ALWAYS TRICKY with Rose - if he didn’t choose his words carefully he could make her FEEL WORSE. “Your ability to confess to your mistakes is what’s helped you grow. But Roza, you can’t let this rule over you. It’s not HEALTHY, and I feel terrified for you.”
