You may meet a friend of mine on the Road: a Man, lean, dark, tall, by some called Strider.
Warmup Spock from a bit ago :3
Uhura: I would certaintly love to learn to play it Spock: I would be pleased to give you the theory, the mathematics however are somewhat complex in my knowledge no non vulcan has ever mastered the instrument My headcanon is that Spock tought her to play the lyre, take this in whatever way you prefer (romanticaly or platonicly) I adore them either way. <3

The Mammy Trope was used on SNW Uhura. It is insulting for people to want us to pretend this is not the case.
A mammy is a U.S. historical stereotype depicting black women, usually enslaved, who did domestic work, including nursing children.[2] The fictionalized mammy character is often visualized as a fat, dark-skinned woman with a motherly personality.
We can see the trope here in SNW
When people accuse you of hating dark skin women. I will tell you no. This could have been SNW Uhura
About confession 349, why is the existence of Celia Rose Gooding's Uhura accused of being part of some evil agenda to "masculinize" black women and not the Zoe Saldana version?
Clearly, it can't be because the Saldana version has lighter skin and straighter hair and a body type more aligned with conventional beauty standards/s.
Posting this as a response to a previous confession.
I respectfully disagree and I hope we can have a healthy conversation on this topic without the accusation of racism or colorsm or people just blocking others. this are actresses that would have made a better uhura than gooding. These are beauty standards of dark skin women.
I will even argue all 3 are more beautiful than Saldana light skin ass.
This is not the standard of a beautful dark skin black woman. This is the standard of the mammy trope.
How do you define a mammy or the mammy trope.
A mammy is a U.S. historical stereotype depicting black women, usually enslaved, who did domestic work, including nursing children.[2] The fictionalized mammy character is often visualized as a fat, dark-skinned woman with a motherly personality. The origin of the mammy figure stereotype is rooted in the history of slavery in the United States,
If you watch SNW, You will notice Celia Uhura fits this description.
Viggo Mortensen as Aragorn in The Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers (2002)
