My best friend’s younger brother passed away last week. For those of you who follow my writing and poetry, you’ll know how close to home this hits, and how dearly I love my found family. hey i know no one will probably see this other than people who already know it but. schizophrenic/schizospec people aren't all homeless people talking to themselves or people stuck in psych wards trying to kill everyone or whatever they tell you. for example, i just kinda sit in my room and don't bother anyone like maybe 80% of the time. i scroll on my phone. i watch movies and play games on my computer. i do chores when i (rarely) have the energy. i have a partner who i love and who tries their best to understand me and help me no matter what's going on with me.

i hate to do this again but things are fucked up at my in laws and we’ve only been back with them for not even a week. im being misgendered by them, my wife’s father is physically violent, food + ingredients i’ve bought for myself keep getting taken, her parents have taken money from us multiple times, and they regularly get angry with us for being disabled. im a native mexican trans man and my wife is a chinese trans woman, the city we are currently living in is infamous due to the large amount of white supremacists here, and the city i was previously living in for uni before moving back in with my in laws has a heavy ice presence and the city continues to fund them. we are looking to move somewhere safe to live (open to suggestions), but to do that we need some help with moving costs, groceries, and gas. i can update this post with more information if needed, but reblogs and donations are greatly appreciated. thank you all again ❤️

Spotlight for the Revive Gaza's Agriculture Program

The original version of this post was a rotating list of links for both Sudan and Gaza. I was unable to keep up with actually rotating out the links, and so I thought it might be for the best if I just focus all my energy onto one mutual aid campaign. I'll link the original masterpost at the end of this one.

If you've followed me for any amount of time, you probably know that agriculture is one of my passions. I firmly believe in food sovereignty and food justice.

So I was glad to learn about the Revive Gaza's Agriculture project. This program not only produces food (which is critical right now), but it also undermines the blockade intended to starve out Gazans, and is working to provide jobs. The organization has stated that later stages will help remediate the soil that has been poisoned over the course of the genocide.

Their progress in their own words:

Cultivated 1,019 dunums of vegetables with 537 farming families, comprising a total of 3,370 individuals.

Produced 5,090 tons of fresh vegetables.

Rehabilitated 17 greenhouses.

Rehabilitated 2 agricultural wells serving 6,000 individuals.

Provided fishing nets to 30 fisherfolk.

Distributed poultry to families.
