ABOUT MILES
Miles was too young to know who his dad was, all he knew was that his dad had passed away in the army and his brother Finn had stepped up to help their mom take care of him and his sibling. Miles loved Finn and looked up to him his whole life, and hoped one day he would grow up to be like him. Growing up, Miles was very introverted. He spent a lot of time in his room watching films, trying to avoid real life. He was always told his dad was being noble and fighting for his country and he should be proud but all Miles wanted was his dad around. So he ignored the pain and watched the films anytime he had a moment, they would be old school films to modern films and he was interested in how they were made.Â
During elementary school, he hid out, he didnât really have many friends apart from one and they both just spoke about films. Once he went to Middle school though he broke out of his shell, whilst he loved films and he knew he would always love films, he started to enjoy playing sports, especially Basketball and it was how he became more confident and became more extroverted and made more friends. He didnât know what to make of his love for basketball but he was glad that it got him out of his shell.
When his momâs career started to pick up he was realising what he wanted to do as his career and what he wanted to go to college for. He knew he loved Basketball but it wasnât enough to try and make a career out of it, even if he had been told he was good and could make it big. He was interested in creating stories as amazing as the films he loved to watch, he didnât want to be in front of the camera, he wanted to be behind the camera calling action and seeing his ideas for a story come to life.Â
He went to college in New York which took him away from his family and a lot of his friends which was hard, however he wanted to go study Film Studies at NYU and learn how to become a director to make his dream a reality. He had a great time and he fell in love with the city. He decided once he graduated at 22 that he was going to stay in New York to try and get some experience in the city. During his time at college, he had learnt a lot about himself, he had made friends and continued with playing basketball as a hobby whilst he focused on coming up with more ideas and being more creative with ideas he had for the student films he was working on. He had directed student films for his studies but now he wanted to try and do something for himself to add to his resume. He did a few amateur theatre plays which were different from films. At 24 he sent in his show reel to some agencies, and after 6 months of waiting he was lucky to get picked up by an agent who then suggested he made the move away from the city and move to Los Angeles.
Now he was 26 nearly 27 and he has directed 3 films that have been successful and he was determined to continue the process of directing, he was still loving it. However he also decided he wanted to become a professor at PSU. He had heard of the college and heard they were looking for another film studies professor and he decided that he was going to go for that job to help others make their dreams come true.Â
FAMILY BACKGROUND

To put it simply, Carole Hudson is a study of strength and resiliency. The product of a Midwestern upbringing, early on it appeared as though she was on her way to a traditional, normal life. Having married her high school sweetheart, Christopher Hudson, not long after graduation, the young family quickly doubled in size with the addition of two children in the first couple of years. Carole split her time raising their children while working towards a creative writing degree, while Christopher pursued a career in the army. For a few years they were happy, and eventually welcomed a third child into the world. One year later, Christopherâs unit was sent overseas to fight in the war. Carole, left on her own with three children under 10 years old, struggled to keep the family afloat as best she could. And then came the horrible news that Christopher had been killed in action⊠At her young age, Carole Hudson was now a widow.
Now completely on her own, a mourning Carole worked multiple jobs in retail and food service to be able to provide for her children, and with what little spare time she could muster began to write as a means of escape from the stresses of her day to day life. As the children got older her writings began to take shape in the form of a mystery novel, one that Carole eventually sought to get published. It was an overnight sensation in the literary world, and one book soon became a celebrated series as Carole became a full-time author. It also wasnât long before Hollywood came calling, to turn the first book in the series into a movie with the potential for more later. And so Carole was able to add screenwriter and producer to her job title, carefully crafting her series into a popular franchise. While her focus has long been on her family and career, lately Carole has allowed herself to dip her toe back into the dating world. Rumor has it sheâs become involved with Burt Hummel, the popular TV host, but neither one has come out and confirmed it yet.
