Alerie doesn't have any magical abilities except for being a dragonrider, but this is almost a given anyways with her birthright. She isn't a dreamer like her elder sister though. In terms of the occult, Alerie is more concerned with earthly joys than anything else; by modern standards she would be unfairly classed as shallow. But she doesn't dismiss the occult outright. She can't, not with her family history and how Helaena's visions always come to pass.
Maren wishes she had just grabbed Aegon, their children and fled on dragonback when Otto first proposed crowning Aegon king. She initially rebelled against Otto before getting swept up in it all, succumbing to the idea of being queen. But ambition has cost them everything.

Maren's anger goes two ways depending on the context of the situation. It can either swiftly flare up and die out just as quickly or it can be a long cold silent fury where she seethes before suddenly exploding. She will usually throw stuff and scream or lock herself away brooding before going crazy. She can't control it, it consumes her, both in the heat of the moment and over a length of time.

This is my self-indulgent fic where Severus gets everything he deserves... and I mean to a ridiculously over-the-top extent.
I wrote this for myself, not with an external audience in mind. But if you're in the mood for something easy to read, without a complicated plot, and don't mind a softer sort of Severus, maybe you won't hate it.
What it doesn't have: a big complicated plot, Sev being standoffish or cruel to the OC at first.
What it does have: Sev all up in his feels, a female OC, a range of other OCs that were sooo much fun to write, fluff, some angst, and yes, smut too. Canon characters also pop in quite regularly.

When Cordelia still cared about Aerion, she used to show her jealousy openly and always make a huge scene over it, especially in front of an audience. After Maekar warns her to amend her ways, Cordelia is forced to be discreet, instead confronting Aerion in their chambers after dismissing their attendants and servants.
With Baelor, Cordelia cannot afford to show any kind of emotion towards him, especially jealousy. As a widowed prince and heir to the Iron Throne, Baelor has many trying to court and seduce him. Cordelia observes this but she deeply buries her jealousy, acting aloof to the point of enmity.
