one thing that is very funny to me which i've never seen being talked about, really, is how alex started out the eycte tour wearing these very unpretentious, plain outfits even if they had some color to them

like the simplest ones are things i could imagine him going grocery shopping in, and the colorful suits are really just that: suits

and then slowly but surely throughout the era he started slutting out more and more, with mismatched combinations, layers, half-costumes, tight pants, loose shirts, accessories like ties and bandanas and sunglasses, etc

it really brought out the chaos of eycte and it's so interesting to see how he was figuring out the feel of the era himself as it went along in regards to how it could be expressed in his fashion
