2jacko: I’m in Paris to see Jack White at L’Olympia and just bumped into Alex Turner!!
Literally just got off the flight from Glasgow and heading to the hotel. I was wondering to myself if he’d be at the show and at that moment he walked past me (14th June 2026)

Happy birthday to Suck It and See, which was released on 6th June, 2011.
“I think this record has a kind of warmth to it that we’ve never had before. Sonically, I think it’s the best thing we’ve done. The last song I wrote for the previous album was a track called ‘Cornerstone’ - and I think that really set the tone for the songs I wrote next, many of which ended up on this record. I didn’t want it to sound twee or cheese, but I wanted to have the more melodic, major-key songs to go first on this record. We tried to challenge ourselves that way.”

rkellyphoto: @arcticmonkeys 2007 this out take of the band was taken on location at the house in Garston, Liverpool that was used for the cover of their 2nd album Favourite Worst Nightmare. I can't recall what or who they were laughing at but everyone was in good spirits that day. I'd heard the album the week before and, as much as I love the first album, it sounded a real development of their sound. I think AM is my own personal favourite album. Would be interested to hear what everyone else's was. (Posted on 08/05/2026)
jamesohara_again: Happy 40th to main man @matthelders ❤️
Yes, he factually has an above average sized head BUT he's also good at everything (genuinely, it's infuriating) so perhaps the cranium size is proportional to the talent?
Anyway, he's a gem. (Posted on 07/05/2026)
guyeppel: @ arcticmonkeys @ glastofest 2005. BACK IN THE DAY: This was one of my favorite sets I’ve seen the band play. Between the new found euphoria that was growing for them and the way they nonchalantly went about playing their music yet with vigor. It felt like whatever will be will be to them, but we aren’t bothered. It felt like here’s a band that are gonna do it on their own terms. Mostly. You gotta play the game to a certain extent. Each song of the set the crowd grew until it was beyond capacity and the tent was overflowing. Felt exciting to be witnessing the start of Monkey Mania & I was lucky enough to see them play all sorts of different stages as their career took off. I miss the popped collar days, ain’t gonna lie. Things evolve and change though. Who as a fan has been there since day numéro uno? If so can you share your favorite Arctic Monkeys moments or albums with us?

It was 20 years ago…After living in New York for almost 7 years this was the last shoot I did before we moved back to London, with an 18 month old baby. A small box on the 8th floor, with two windows, is no place to raise a kid, even with a concierge in the lobby who can sort out your dry cleaning. (Posted on 27/02/2026)
limoenchen_bln: Arctic Monkeys Mudd Club 10.11.2005 First thing I heard from Arctic Monkeys were some really strong demo songs! As soon as the concert was announced, we got tickets - for the first Arctic Monkeys concert ever in Germany! It was sold out, half the club was full of Englishmen. Lots of desperate people outside the Mudd Club, who would do anything for a ticket... It almost boiled to mass hysteria! It was small, intimate, tight, sticky and sweat dripping off the ceiling. It's probably one of the most beautiful, wild concerts I've had the chance to witness! ❤️
Set list (sort of): I bet you look good on the dancefloor The view from the afternoon Still take you home You probably couldn't see for the lights... Bigger boys and stolen sweethearts Dancing shoes When the sun goes down From the Ritz to the rubble Perhaps vampires is a bit strong but... Mardy bum Fake tales of San Francisco A certain romance
sollyalba: Throwback to 2018 when Alex Turner unexpectedly joined Miles Kane onstage during his concert at La Cigale, in Paris, to sing Standing Next to Me 💕 Had fun re-editing these shots, I have really fond memories of that night. Photos and review are on Soundofbrit.fr Also, can't wait for Miles Kane show at Le Trianon next month ⚡️(Posted on 14/02/2026)
