Why do people think that Kirk is a pretty boy who only gets stuff done because of his looks and is just a womaniser? Kirk is so much more than that. He isn’t some “all brawn no brains” kind of guy. He’s a bloody starship captain! He didn’t get promoted to captain because he was good looking. He was promoted to captain because he worked hard for it and proved that he had the intelligence and qualities that are needed to be a good starship captain.
