UMMMM?
This song is too iconic to ignore. I vibed hard to this song when I was 15, and honestly it hits completely different now that I’m an adult and these things are starting to actually apply to me a little?
One of my favorite aspects of this is of course her stunning vocal performance, but also how every dark thing she sings about is almost sung in a really cheery way despite its seriousness. For example, she sings in the chorus “feelin’ super super super suicidal”, but in the background there’s peppy voices cheering the words, it’s just an interesting, creative addition to an overall ironic song.
