Careful What You Ask For... || Elizabeth,Tom&Ridley
Ridley struggled against the telekinetic web she was trapped in, watching the black tendrils of shadows grab at her. Tom moved and did something she had not fathomed he would do… He moved against Elizabeth, rooting her. Ridley’s lips pulled back over her teeth in a snarl of protest. Her hand broke free and reached up to the spot on her neck where Elizabeth had knicked her with the knife.
She reached out and drew in the air with her fingertips as the brush and the blood as her paint. She painted a circle of glyphs in hurried precision and chanted a quick spell. In the center of the circle a light flickered into place like a shorted light bulb, then suddenly flared with a great intensity. The light disintegrated the shadows clinging to her feet and other hand and Ridley wafted to the ground, her hair swaying in a wind swept up by her anger.
"Add that dagger to your list of debt, Tommy." She was boiled over with anger. Her eyes glinted with a certain determination and lust. She wanted them to hurt, now. Especially the woman…
"I have no business with her." She quickly decided. "Our deal was clean and without consequence." She would be damned if she refunded a deal that wasn’t even dirty, and even more so now since the woman wanted her dead so badly. "I came without ill-intentions, and she spits in my face." She turned her gaze to Elizabeth and the jade of her eyes flared. "You’ll be lucky if I don’t curse you for the rest of eternity, Psylocke.”
The meeting was turning out worse than she had imagined, and they had only been in each others’ presence for a minimal amount of time. Though, truth be told, she was at the moment impressed with Tom. He had used his powers, and rather proficiently at that… The dagger was made with magic and metals not found in Midgard, yet he had disassembled it completely.
She reached up and forced more blood from her neck before the gash would close and bent down to the earth, keeping eyes on her adversaries. Another spell fell from her lips, the language dark and heavy. She dug her fingers into the dirt as lightning sparked above their heads. Five jagged strikes assaulted the graveyard around the trio. Where the lightning had struck, the graves burst open. Skeleton’s in various stages of decomposition crawled forth from the broken ground. Slowly but surely they surrounded their small group, two coming up directly behind Ridley, flanking her as the other three stood around Tom and Elizabeth.
"Whatever business you think you have left with me, Thomas Jones, you should speak over it quickly…" She spoke to him now, intentionally and indignantly ignoring Elizabeth.
Elizabeth took the snub in stride, her eyes flickering around the skeletons with calculating intent. She could feel Thomas in front of her, tensing slightly. She crouched down, her eyes fixed on the witch, her head tilted. Everyone had a weakness and it was time to learn hers.
Sliding into Ridley's mind undetected was easier than she thought it would be, and it was in time that she found the one thing that would easily cripple her opponent. With a cold and twisted smile, Elizabeth stood from her crouch, her eyes glowing. She circled around Tom, speaking into the blonde woman's head.
"A heart for a heart, witch. And such a fragile one you have in that hollow pale chest of yours. How sad it is to know that you've gone so long, making deals, having your fun, when it's all because you can't get what you want." She could have sworn she saw the witch's eyes flash to her.
Elizabeth whispered aloud, her mouth forming the word delicately, as though in prayer. "Viktor."
She unleashed the images then, small flashes of him, his smile, his lips on hers, the smell of him assaulting her from her memories. Viktor was everywhere, his false love smothering her from the inside out. Elizabeth couldn't fight giving her a little extra pain. "Hearts are precious things. Too bad he never wanted yours." She pushed the image of him walking away into the forefront of Ridley's mind.
"They'll never stop. Never. You'll see these images for the rest of forever. Unless..." Elizabeth spoke the next part aloud to Ridley, her voice strong. "Give us what we want."
I Never Did Understand Halloween
*rolls her eyes* I was being facetious. Then again, I suppose you couldn’t tell. You dont know me quite well enough.
No I don’t know you that well. So you could be. -chuckles-
Well, you're the first person I've met that's from across the pond. We could blow some things skyward in celebration.
I Never Did Understand Halloween
Burning the visage of a national treasure? *grins* I’m up for it.
National Treasure? You do know that Guy Fawke was part of the plot to try and kill King James the first right?
*rolls her eyes* I was being facetious. Then again, I suppose you couldn't tell. You dont know me quite well enough.
I Never Did Understand Halloween
I know we didn’t. Americans are weird.
Maybe we can have Guy Fawke Night here. so it be more like home.
Burning the visage of a national treasure? *grins* I'm up for it.
I Never Did Understand Halloween
Dressing up as something odd and otherworldly when I’m those things every day of my life.
Halloween is just another day.
You and me both. We didn;t have Halloween in England.
I know we didn't. Americans are weird.

Elizabeth could feel her chest tighten as she watched the beads she had given to Tom sway in the blond bitch’s grasp. Those beads…they had meant something. She had given them to him out of love, something she very rarely showed to anyone.
...
Elizabeth's glowing violet orbs focused on the hateful eyes of the witch in front of her. She was right. Elizabeth was heartless and in more ways than one. She had nothing to lose but Thomas and, while that was not something she could have dreamt of gambling with in a million years, she needed her heart back.
With a sneer, Elizabeth bared her teeth and growled, the sound nearly inhuman. "Fuck your bargains."
Her eyes narrowed as the knife flew out of the witches grasp, nicking Thomas further, and embedding itself in a nearby tree. He'd have to forgive her for it later. She hadn't used her telekinesis in a while, but the power flowed through her so smoothly, so warmly, she felt it like an embrace from an old friend. With her hand flying up, Elizabeth took a step closer, shaking with the rage and power coursing through her.
The blond still held him tightly, but at least the knife wasn't really a factor anymore. Pushing with her mind, she began to work on the fingers around Thomas' throat, pulling them back one by one, until he was free to move and the witch was standing alone.
"I'm not in a jesting mood, so I'll make you a deal." The shadows Elizabeth loved so much grabbed the woman's arms and legs and pulled her to stand spread eagle, with her toes touching the ground. The knife was suddenly in Elizabeth's hand as she advanced on the other woman. Placing the blade against the other woman's neck, she smiled a Cheshire grin.
"A heart for a heart, you said? I don't believe you have one, so I'll make it even easier on you. A heart for a life. I would love to see if your veins look like the 405..." Nicking the woman in the same spot Thomas was bleeding from, her violet eyes held a quiet, deadly promise. "Magic won't be enough to fix the damage I'll cause. Now, give us what we wish."
