Reflective silver eyes darted towards the obviously undead servant when she first moved and though Arslan watched with inquisitive interest for a moment he returned his attention to his host when he was questioned. He held his tongue for a moment as he considered whether he should lie or not, and then merely shrugged and opened his mouth to speak. “I am Arslan, from the south, and I am here to explore for I have a feeling that there might be something here that I have been looking for for quite a long time.”
There, that was truthful but not the whole truth and would have to suffice for now unless Arturio was curious enough to ask for further information. The beastman leveled his gaze up at the tall creature’s eye sockets and wondered how many more there might be here beneath the earth. “I did not know that there was anyone living down here; I must admit that I am quite surprised to have stumbled into your home.”
Arturio took his words with a grain of salt. But the possibilities of someone coming to find what they were looking for was... poetic. hardly anyone found what they truly wanted, coming down here... but this one... He couldn’t help but indulge a little.
“ What exactly art thou looking for? “ he tilted his skull slightly. “ Thou’rt far from any surface civilization, I’m sure... What lead thou to this place, even if thous intentions were not my home? “
