drink in her hand, dressed as daphne from scooby doo, vienna was minding her own business, however, she couldn't shake the feeling that someone had been looking at her. turning her head from the conversation she's been having, she caught someone looking her way. “ are you staring for fun or do you wanna say something ? ” she teases, smirk on her lips.
no one told sammy that dressing as wonder woman would be such a struggle, she felt like she had a wedgie from the tights that went with her costume every time she took a step. truth be told? she hadn't been purposely staring at the other, she was just right there in her midst. " sorry, i didn't mean to. " she reassured the other. " i lowkey just started zoning out, i didn't even realize until you said something. " she admitted with a small chuckle.

" no of course i think the girls all look hot , my point is they look too good , like i wish we could have girl only halloween parties , the men are not worthy of some of the asses i've seen paraded around here tonight . " a sigh leaving at the idea as she sipped on the wine she had brought herself , straight from the bottle , but still a classy drink none the less .
" are you saying i look bad in this costume then? " alejandro asked, hand over his heart as he pretended to be hurt. " i'm wounded, i don't know if i'll ever be able to recover from this. " he teased, fainting onto the couch, trying his best not to spill his can of beer.
she's spaced out of the conversation that she was in. only thing to catch her attention was the other yelling about beer pong. a smirk on her lips as she looks at him standing by the beer pong table. “ i mean , i will come. ” she says, excusing herself from the conversation. “ but i don't want to embarrass you when i kick your ass. ” vienna admits playfully.
he was glad he was finally able to find a worthy opponent since entering this party, he'd be lying if he had said he wasn't bored out of his mind. mitchie and his sister were god knows where and his teammates were busy either doing keg stands by themselves or in a private room with whatever random hookup they were able to find that night. " alright, let's fucking go! " he exclaimed happily. " well, i guess we'll just have to see about that now, won't we? " shane smirked.

"i made pumpkin cookies! want to try one?" sammy asked the first person she saw upon entering the party. she wasn't much of a baker usually, but this year she promised herself she'd try new things.. even if they didn't turn out as well as she'd hoped. "i added something special to kick it up a notch a bit."

"you know, it’s not really a costume if you just dress like yourself." alejandro teased, laughing a bit at his own joke. did he really think they looked that bad? not in the slightest, he just liked teasing people. "what are you supposed to be anyway.. like actually?"

"it’s pretty packed here tonight.. do you mind if i join you?" gianna asked the first person she saw once she found what might be the only open seat at this party. she promised herself she wouldn't go too hard on the drinks this time, which would explain why she felt so out of place. "it's okay if you'd rather be alone though, i get it."

two cups of tea in her hand, she brought them out onto the back deck where gianna was. reaching where she was sitting, she handed her one of the mugs before sitting on the chair next to hers. "it's lavender chamomile tea." something her mom would give her when ever she needed it. she knew it was better to pull the bandaid off rather than just…not. "mind explaining what happened to cause the black eye?" she had a feeling of what it might be. but faye was never the one to jump to conclusions. not until the person she was talking to came forward. and if gianna didn't want to, she would respect that. but it still worried her.
gi doesn't know what she did to deserve a friend like faye, she doesn't know what she'd do if she didn't have her in her life honestly. not bothering to look up at her, trying to hide her bruises, she smiles. "thanks, i needed this." she reassured the other, trying to stall. "oh this? uh nothing, i just fell down the stairs.." she lied, although she knew it probably wasn't a good one.

Billy was fully conscious of the fact that he was doing something uncharacteristic of himself by driving the extra distance, and paying the extra money, for artisan donuts, when a Boston Cream from Dunkin should have been good enough for anyone. Trouble was these donuts weren't for just anyone; they were for Gianna Monroe, and that meant they needed to be the very best donuts that he could possibly get.
So, a box of six, it had to be said, truly beautiful looking donuts, was strapped to the back of his bike as he sped towards her place. As he arrived, he was acutely aware of the fact that in twelve years of admiring her from across rooms, and from the audience of packed out theatres as she lit up the stage, this was the first time he'd ever been to a place where she lived. Kicking the stand on his bike, he reached into his pocket and sent her a quick text to let her know he was outside, before getting to work on unstrapping the donut box. Once the box was freed, he held it in one hand, while he used the other to open the small compartment on the back of his bike, and extracted the tray of coffee cups from within. Leaning against his bike, he smiled at the sight of her approach and took a couple steps forward to meet her.
"You never did tell me what kind of donut you wanted, so I got a half a dozen just to be on the safe side." He said with a chuckle and a shrug. "I got your coffee here though. It should be right. I only checked with the barista about seven times." He grinned at the only very slight exaggeration; in truth, he had checked five times.
Gianna had been getting ready for cheer practice when she heard giggling from her room, one of her sorority sisters knocking on her door to tell her that someone on a motorcycle had been here to see her, and she couldn't help but roll her eyes at the fact that they were so giddy about it. She had to explain to them that he was just a friend, but when one of her sorority sisters asked if she could keep him for herself, she failed to comment as she made her way downstairs.
Opening the door and making her way outside, she smiled at the sight of the other. The two had grown up in the same town but were in vastly different circles, so she never really got to hang out with him until now.
"It's okay, I'm not picky, I love all donuts." She replied with a small chuckle, taking one from the box and taking a quick bite of it. "Seven times, really? It's not a complicated order, is it? I'll have to change it if it is, I swear I hate making baristas work even harder than they already are." She admitted before then looking back at her sorority sisters. "We should get out of here before they start asking for your number."

romy listens as the present conversation turns toward a bizarre medical tangent about a strange joint quirk or muscle twitch, a side effect itself of studying human movement & function. a faint smirk tugs at the corner of their mouth before they shake their head slightly. "as much as i am intrigued by your… quirks," romy murmurs as they lean back, "you should probably get an actual professional opinion on that before your arm decides to fall off."
it wasn't odd for him to bother one of the med students about his problems, he'd much rather do that than go to an actual doctor. it's not that he was afraid of his doctor or anything, he was just a firm believer in the saying 'an apple a day keeps a doctor away'. "oh, come on, you gotta help me!" he reassured the other, practically begging them. "i swear i won't be able to play if i get hurt again."
“ why? you wanna come to my bed? ” mischievous smirk tugs at features, question lingering between them for a couple beats as the blonde strand continues to twist around finger. the adrenaline and forbidden nature of the closeness was pulling him to continue pushing the limits, to poke the bear until finally bit. an impulsive person by nature, especially when the impulse included the adrenaline of getting caught. “ show me, huh? and how do you plan on doing that for me, babe? ” head tilts, leaning a small distance closer but never close enough that it would deem crossing a line. close enough that he could smell her perfume, not distanced enough to avoid a hit.
" i wouldn't be opposed to it. " she admitted, a flirtatious smirk forming on the blonde's lips as a result. this wouldn't be the first time that gi had been experimenting a bit on the wild side and it definitely wouldn't be her last, she loved the rush of it too much to give it all up now. " i guess you'll just have to wait and see. " she teased, winking at the other. " but it'll start out with something a little like this. " she added before then leaning in closer to the other, locking her lips with his.
usually a quiet individual, dani thrived in hiding in the shadows. it was a place she had come to become comfortable in and a place that didn't cause distress. but there was this intriguing pull whenever sammy made herself known, forcing dani to dig deep into her gut and pull out a flirtatious sarcasm she wasn't aware she acquired. “ don't tell sloane, she's the jealous type. ” soft chuckle, a click of the pen to indicate she was focused on present company and not her journal. “ see, if you're so easily distracted, that's telling me that i shouldn't show my face when you're on the ice, which is disappointing since you look so good out there. ”
" oh, i wouldn't dream of telling her, she scares me sometimes. " sammy admitted, a small chuckle escaping her lips as a result. she loved her teammates, but there had been times when even she thought they could be a bit much, although she'd never admit that out loud. " who says i don't play better even while distracted? "

ever since she came back from visiting home, a horrible idea really, she had been avoiding her classes in hopes that no one would want to ask how she's doing. truth be told, it was a bad idea to begin with, especially going in there by herself, but she knew it was something she had to do. "shit." she exclaimed, rubbing her temples to try and get rid of the raging headache she got after partying with her sorority sisters last night. it was one of the reasons as to why she was even wearing sunglasses indoors. well, that and the fact that she was trying her best to hide the black eye that her own father had given her for simply telling him the truth for once. as she took a sip of the iced coffee in her hand, she could feel a familiar presence stand in front of her, not even bothering to look up at them as she put her hood over her. "listen if you're here to lecture me about missing class, i don't want to hear it, i've had enough people telling me already and i could give zero fucks about it honestly." she reassured them, trying her best not to seem as hungover as she already is. "do you have any tylenol or anything by any chance though? i have a raging headache right now and it'd be a huge help."
