Victorian Valentine cards

-Victorian Valentine cards, 1870-1880

Victorian Valentine cards were flat paper sheets, often printed with colored illustrations and embossed borders. The sheets, when folded and sealed with wax, could be mailed. On 10 January 1840, Great Britain introduced the Uniform Penny Post, meaning that Valentine cards could be mailed for just one penny. The mass produced Valentine card was born. Valentines were sent in such great numbers that postmen were given a special allowance for refreshments to help them through the extraordinary exertions of the two or three days leading up to February 14th. Rather than purchase a ready-made valentine, some Victorians assembled original valentines from materials purchased at a stationer’s shop: lace, bits of mirror, bows and ribbons, seashells and seeds, gold and silver foil appliqués, silk flowers, and clichéd printed mottoes like “Be Mine” and “Constant and True.”Victorian valentines commonly feature churches or church spires, signifying honorable intentions and fidelity.

What do I expect from life?

So, I'm looking for a great adventure here. With all the possibilities and problems, because complexity makes me live! It is beautiful! Life, love, fear, pain and pleasure, completely, I want to feel all the notes of it.

What do I want to do in life?

 Maybe I have a little dream. A dream place in the city of Warsaw :) A dream to open your own flower and plant shop at not high prices, as a great hobby ...

But this is my main dream.

So, I want to get a better rumor than now. I want to travel around this big world to my friends from the Internet ^^

I think you need to have the desire and posibility for knowledge and work hard, and then you can achieve a lot in this life!

What is a drawing?

We all used to think that drawing is a “way to display reality on paper”. But everything is not so simple. This is not only a way to express emotions, but also a way to share them with friends and family!) Warm weather is coming :3

Good day to you. Today is a 27 of march. That means - spring is coming in my city, make streets and boulevars wet, people are happy))

Somebody can say - "wet weather make boring, make sadness"...

I can say, that is a lie.

Just look around, plants and animals wakes from deep sleep, maybe that is a reason to "wake" from deep boring for us? Just stop speaking about boring everywhere, and remember, you can make world around happy, make you soul lil warm too with shine smile :3

I'm too sorry for big pause..

Today is a 15 of March, great day for my family. Today is birthday of my young sister, and I snake a strange tendency in people, who celebrating holidays: they completely forget about them. Opinion about the futility of such days is absolutely wrong, on my own. Days like that - that is a reason to give to lovely, family, friends, or any another people around you, some pile of happiness and hurt-sharing smiles, give a reason to show, how you really love them)

It's amazing way to spend time good, to forget about stress. Just try)

Dont forget about any holidays, it's realy can by fun)

Absolutely right. Anione need to be loved, especially, it's make us a humans) So, if you feels bad, when you wanna be alone - just call or write something to guy, who loves you.

Today I get a lessons about many different things from live. When I was on veterinary, my puppy being is really scared. She was looks like little and puffy piece of knowledge, ho just always want to sleap. After that, I buy for she some nice food, and gonna read on my own library, when I spend all day. I find good book about story of Poland... So, it was a great day for me) I hope, for you too.
