I’ve been seeing a recent resurgence in the theory that Bon is Jack, and I want to give my points as to why I don’t believe it here

1) The way Bon speaks to Rosemary does not come off as a romantic lover, rather someone who idolizes her. We know that Bon adores the animatronics, and that he revolves his entire (after)life to them. When Rosemary speaks about designing the animatronics, his reply comes off in a more fan matter, rather than familiarity. This is further emphasized by the fact that Rosemary avoids saying she loves him back. you also can’t claim she stopped loving Jack, since she literally JUST escaped prison and ran backstage to see him.

2) Jack did not want Rosemary to think about him anymore. It wouldn’t make sense for him to then reach out and lure her in with his memory.

3) Jack, for the most part, seems to cope by using lighthearted remarks about when Molly was a child. He does this to try to make Rosemary smile. When Rosemary deploys the same lighthearted remarks, Bon doesn’t understand

4) Jack and Bon do not share the same amount of enthusiasm about the animatronics. Bon idolizes them, calls them perfect, is implied to have KILLED himself to live as one of them, whilst Jack is… normal? Only really comments on the bowtie

5, and the most important) Jack being Chilean is a very important thing to Martin, hence why he voice acts Jack himself to give Jack a Chilean accent. Bon, on the other hand, does not have this accent. For lack of a better way of wording it, I don’t think Martin Walls would have casted Eva in order to whitewash Jack. If he wanted Jack to be Bon, he would’ve voice acted Bon himself. This is specifically about the claim that Bon “sounds” Chilean at the end. Martin would have voiced Bon from the start if he wanted to hint at this

Dear Diary,

Dad and I watched a film the other day,

It was about this little puppet boy whose father brought him to life by making a wish. I didn’t think much of it at first, it was supposedly just about the misadventures about his life,

until we got to the end.

The boy, Pinocchio, became a real boy.

A boy of flesh and blood, a boy without any strings.

And it made me wonder quite a bit.

It was foolish, I know. I know that I am ‘old’ enough to understand, but I spent the next few nights praying to the stars to turn me into a ‘real girl’. I prayed and prayed and wished with all my might for the Blue Fairy to arrive.

If I could just be a 'real girl', I could be beautiful. I could grow and change like everyone else, I could leave this place and travel all over the world and not worry about my skin cracking or my arms breaking off.

But I am stuck with this awful body of mine.

Why did he have to turn into a 'real boy'?

I should've looked older by now.

DOEY DOODLES

decided to redraw my doeys! Aw i think i improved! Ive been getting faster at drawing comics!!! Have a small comic of Bert playing cowboys with Jack cause I thought it would be so cute!

Also some Pops and Poppy doodles! Pops was created to be Poppys first friend, I believed during the late 50s-60s, they both had a cute little act together before Poppy was forced to stop doing it.

Lily Lovebraids redesign for my AU

I decided to utilise the flower theme a bit more, because you know, her name is literally Lily. So I gave her a flower-shaped green dress. My main problem with her original design though is that imo she looks too modern for an 80s-90s toy. I wasn't alive back then lmao so I just googled dolls of this period and those Rainbow Brite dolls really reminded me of the "out-of-this-world hair" concept. They are colourful, have wild hair and their outfits are somewhat similar to Lily's. Bam! Perfect inspiration! They also share this celestial theme, which I think is an odd choice for Lily cuz I don't understand where it comes from, but I wanted to keep it, so now she's some sort of flower space girlie?? Idk

Also I feel like children's toys tend to avoid colour black because it isn't "friendly" or whatever, that's another reason why I made her dress green

Please mind: This is only the Lily doll design. For Gracie I'd go for something more gruesome. Mainly because Lily already looks human and considering the fact that living toys in my AU are organic in nature, there isn't much to change about Gracie's appearance to make her look like Lily? (And honestly imo a regular human who thinks she's a toy bc of conditioning is kinda creepy)
