As much as he’d tried to pretend that it wasn’t there, Adrien could deny it no longer: he felt the call of the Dark Side once again. Reminding him that he had great power. Making him remember how great it felt to use that power over others, to neutralize those who threatened him and his loved ones. Those like his first girlfriend. As thoughts of using the Dark Side began to seduce him, Adrien closed his eyes. He had no reason to do anything. There were no threats at the moment. But the voice of the Dark Side whispered in his ears, telling him to give in for a moment, to let the power spread through his veins like a wildfire. Unable to fight it off, he opened his eyes, which were now a horrible yellow, and looked at the person in front of him as if seeing them from a new perspective. However, as soon as his eyes had changed, they changed back to their usual brown. Waving his hand in front of the other (although with much more Force behind it), he said, “You did not just see that.”

Ben knew that he had been shutting his brother out. It wasn’t that he had meant to it was just a nagging feeling that something was wrong, that he couldn’t trust him. It wasn’t a feeling he didn’t like. The call to the dark side was only getting worse and He wasn’t sure how much longer he could go on like that. He needed some guidance from someone, family and he hoped his brother could at least help him with that. He was willing to put any other feelings aside and try to path things up. Upon hearing his brother’s words, Adrien sighed and sat down across from him. “It’s not crazy. It’s the truth.” Part of the reason he was constantly looking for a partner was to get rid of the constant loneliness he felt.
