“I think I would as well.” He hadn’t seen many movies, and anything remotely movie-like that he liked, she never would’ve heard of. Sitting down on the couch, he shifted so he was looking at her. “That’s good, because you also have my attention.”

“So, um–” she paused. “I wanted to talk to you about something for a while now.” She started, she was trying to find the perfect time to tell him but clearly there was no perfect timing for the conversation she wanted to have.

“What is it?” The brown haired boy asked, his ears perking up. Although he wasn’t sure what she was about to say, he hoped that it involved the words ‘be’, ‘your’, and ‘girlfriend’.

Adrien pressed a kiss to her cheek. “I’m very glad to hear that.” He was happy that for once someone liked him for his personality and not just because his last name happened to be Solo. “What kind of movie would you like to watch. Or what game would you want to play?”

“I was hoping you could come up with something,” she shrugged. “We can just sit on the couch and talk too. I think I’d like that better.” She sat down and idly ran her fingers on her arm, seeming vulnerable. “I think I want my attention on you alone tonight.”

“It always does. Although I like it a lot better when we’re around each other.” He confessed. Blushing at the kiss pressed to his cheek, he continued. “Honest Adrien is essentially regular Adrien.” Lying was not something he did unless it was necessary.

“How convenient that I like both versions,” Ylania laughed. “I didn’t know you were coming. There’s not really any food in here, but we can watch a movie or something,” she suggested. “Or play games.”

Flashing her another winning smile, the dark haired boy stepped into the house. He hadn’t wanted to overstep any boundaries, which was why he’d asked first. “To be honest? I missed you.” Although he never usually uttered those words, he felt very strongly about the girl and as a result, had decided to show her that.

She tried not to blush when he said those words. Her smile widened into a grin. “See, I knew staying away would make you miss me,” she jested. She moved in closer to him, placing a kiss on his cheek. “I like honest Adrien.”

“It always does. Although I like it a lot better when we’re around each other.” He confessed. Blushing at the kiss pressed to his cheek, he continued. “Honest Adrien is essentially regular Adrien.” Lying was not something he did unless it was necessary.

A soft chuckle left Adrien’s lips at her reply. “I think I know which one it is.” Although they hadn’t discussed where they were in their relationship (or if they even had a relationship), the last time they’d seen each other, he’d been able to deduce that she’d missed him. Raising an eyebrow back at her, he said, “Would you like me to come in?”

“Suppose the company wouldn’t hurt,” she shrugged, playing it cool. For the duration of whatever-it-is-they-were, they’d always kept each other at an arm’s length although it was fairly obvious to anyone outside that there was more there. “And to what do I owe the visit?”

The dark haired boy had had a long day, however he knew exactly what would make him feel better. Which was why he stood on the porch of a certain vampiric teenager. He politely knocked on the door, and once it was open, his face lit up. “Hey beautiful,” He said, “did you miss me?”

The sun was finally coming down, which meant it was finally time for Ylania to get out of her threshold. She was ready to go an hour before, as per usual. Always too excited to go out and have her fun. Just then she heard a knock at her door. Seeing who her guest was, a ghost of a smirk graced her lips as she looked at him from head to toe, then back again. “Maybe I missed you. Maybe I didn’t” She shrugged, “You want to come in?” she asked raising a brow at the handsome man.

Adrien nodded in understanding. He’d flirted with enough people to know that avoiding someone purposely for an effect, be it positive or negative, was a thing. “Fair enough. Although I wish you’d stuck around me for at least a little bit.”

“The plan kind of back fired obviously.” She laughed looking up at his face and smiling. She let out a sigh of satisfaction. Really, the reason why she stayed away from Adrien for so long was that she was figuring out if she liked him or not. And what she realized scared her, but he didn’t have to know that. “So what are we doing to make up all the misadventures that we didn’t get to experience?”

At Ylania’s question, a grin came onto Adrien’s face. “I think I may have an idea.” He said softly as he leaned in and pressed his lips to hers. He’d been deprived of kissing her (and she happened to be someone he actually cared about), so as a result, he felt compelled to kiss her while he saw her.

“And I missed you.” He replied, giving her hand a gentle squeeze. He hadn’t seen the girl in a while, and although there were plenty of other girls that’d caught his eye, Ylania was at the top of the list. “Where have you been hiding?”

“Away from the sun,” she joked lightly. “Besides I couldn’t be able to make you miss me by sticking around you all the time.”

She took his hand in hers and smiled down at the sight for a second before she spared a moment to ook at him. “I’m happy to hear that. As much as I hate to say it, I did miss you.”

Adrien leaned against the door frame and crossed his arms, as his sulfuric eyes narrowed, but then morphed into a smile. “Aww, and here I was going to offer to buy you a congratulatory drink.” He sneered.

He began to circle around his brother like an animal would it’s prey.  “ Why did you come? I’d be foolish to think it was because you missed me. “ he replied, cutting straight to the chase.

When the other male began to circle him, Adrien just rolled his eyes. He wasn’t afraid in the slightest; as a matter of fact, if it’d been any other man, he probably would’ve been turned on. Shrugging, he said, “Maybe I did miss you, oh fearless leader. You don’t know what’s going on in my mind.”

As much as he’d tried to pretend that it wasn’t there, Adrien could deny it no longer: he felt the call of the Dark Side once again. Reminding him that he had great power. Making him remember how great it felt to use that power over others, to neutralize those who threatened him and his loved ones. Those like his first girlfriend. As thoughts of using the Dark Side began to seduce him, Adrien closed his eyes. He had no reason to do anything. There were no threats at the moment. But the voice of the Dark Side whispered in his ears, telling him to give in for a moment, to let the power spread through his veins like a wildfire. Unable to fight it off, he opened his eyes, which were now a horrible yellow, and  looked at the person in front of him as if seeing them from a new perspective. However, as soon as his eyes had changed, they changed back to their usual brown. Waving his hand in front of the other (although with much more Force behind it), he said, “You did not just see that.”

Ben knew that he had been shutting his brother out. It wasn’t that he had meant to it was just a nagging feeling that something was wrong, that he couldn’t trust him. It wasn’t a feeling he didn’t like. The call to the dark side was only getting worse and He wasn’t sure how much longer he could go on like that. He needed some guidance from someone, family and he hoped his brother could at least help him with that. He was willing to put any other feelings aside and try to path things up. It was all that he could do after all. “ Adrien You there? “ He asked. When he finally had spotted him he froze in his spot, unsure how to react. He stumbled back a bit in surprise and paused. “ What…what are you doing? “ he finally asked.

“Shit.” Adrien muttered, at the sight of his younger brother. He’d hoped that he’d be able to avoid encountering Ben like this, but apparently, that was out the window. Adrien his his surprise at the fact that Ben hadn’t fallen under the power of the Mind Trick like usual. Putting his hands behind his back, he muttered a soft, “Nothing.” and cleared his throat.

“You don’t need to control me to make me attracted to you.” He said with another chuckle. Honestly, all she had to do was go up to him and say hi and his libido would’ve done the rest. “But again, if it’ll make you happy, I’ll pretend that it worked.” At her question, the first response that popped into his head was that the Mind Trick only worked on the weak-minded. However, he’d proven that theory wrong. Although it helped if the person was weak-minded, a stronger willed person could still be put under it. “Well, from what I’ve been told, it only works on the weak-minded.”

“Oh, I know I don’t – but I might have to control you into doing certain things the way I want, when I want. You don’t seem naturally obedient to me.” Daliya teased, her nose crinkling up slightly as glanced over at the male. Though the explanation wasn’t exactly one she expected, she wasn’t necessarily surprised. Most of the men she had turned into her own personal puppets were weak of mind, moral, and heart. Naturally, they were typically the men who would waste their wishes on the most vapid things. “And you’re not weak-minded? That’s a surprise, most men cave at the simplest of things. I’m not sure if I’m more frustrated or impressed with you.”

“Like what?” The brown haired male asked. If it happened to be something sexual, then she’d probably just have to ask him. However, if it was something more serious, then he probably wouldn’t do it. Chuckling at her question, he said, “Contrary to popular belief, I’m not weak-minded.” As a matter of fact, he was the farthest thing from weak-minded. “And I’m not like most men.”

Uncle Luke said so himself.” Putting a hand on his brother’s shoulder, Adrien chuckled. “Okay, fine, you’re a big boy. But, you have to be this tall,” He put his hand up to make a measurement, and put his hand over his head, “to ride in the Falcon. I’m not even there yet.”

Ben looked up at his brother frowned, crossing his tiny little arms over his chest. “ You don’t have to uncle Luke. I promsie I won’t tell mommy or him either. “ He begged his brother.  “ Not fair, Adrien. Not fair at all. “ he whined.

“No means no, Ben. I’m sorry, but I’m not going to do this.” Crossing his own arms, he continued, “Do you even know how to fly the Falcon?” If his brother didn’t know how to fly, then he had another reason to refuse.
