No miles yesterday unfortunately, but 11.6 miles today means I am still on track to hit 480 by Florida and to finish off the first 500 over in the States. Just over two weeks til we leave for D1 Playoffs in Jacksonville, and we are training hard - ready to give it everything we’ve got! To celebrate reaching £500 on our fundraiser to get the Glasgow Roller Derby team, The Irn Bruisers, to this years WFTDA Division 1 playoffs in Jacksonville, Florida, I am going to skate 500 miles. Then, when the fundraiser hits £1000 I am going to skate 500 more. (See what I’m doing here…?) After that I will skate one mile for every pound raised over £1000.
