My favorite Lupin III character is Inspector Zenigata. He's been my comfort character for 4 years. He's helped me through the roughes of times and I'm forever grateful. The young lady he's with in these fanarts is my Lupin III OC. Her name is Maria Moretti. She's an Investigative Journalist for the European Public Prosecutor's Office (EPPO). She lives in Rome, Italy. She's Inspector Zenigata's partner. When they first met, they hated their guts because they would compete in who knows Lupin III better. But along their work, they seem to understand each other. And eventually.. they fell in love. On April 3rd, they got married!! And now, they're the best crime-fighting duo!! 🚔🍜📸🗒

He affectionately calls her 'Shortcake' because she's short, sweet and it's her favorite italian dessert. And despite her short stature, she packs quite a punch! And she calls him 'Zeni'. Or 'Pookie Bear' if he's being affectionate towards her. 🤭💕

Their shipname is "Marigata". They also have a shipname day, which is Marigata Monday!! ❤️🤎🩷🤎

rewatched the pilot episode of zenigata keibu (2017) and i forgot how tsundere the mpd superintendent is like sir please calm down zenigata literally solved the bombing case on the same day it happened!! you want him to leave because what? he brings joy and whimsy into your department?

Zenigata but DAD

Because I have free will, I gave Zeni and Delia (my other lupin oc) a little bebe. He's just a smaller version of his papa, loud and energetic little thing. Zenigata would be such a good dad (or trying to be, being an interpol inspector/going after Lupin is a very serious and demanding job) so proud of his son, you can catch him showing him up (imagine him carrying a lot of pictures on his wallet) to anyone who listen. Little Kenji has been in more Lupin chases that he can remember.
