Rocco’s Emergency Commissions!!
Hey guys, Rocco here!! I hate to be a bother and I hate (even more) to ask you guys for money, but I’m in a pretty desperate situation. For those of you who aren’t aware: My birthmother and birthfather have been in prison on drug charges since I was born. They were released when I was seven, but were arrested again a year later. They both kept in touch with me as I grew up and though I still have moments where I blame them, I love them.
After a lot of hard work and rehab, my birthmom was able to get out of prison and move into an apartment with her sister. She’s working really hard as a petco employee and hasn’t had one complaint from her parole officer. After calling said parole officer, I discovered that my birthmom would be able to fly here and attend my graduation if we could afford her ticket (she certainly cant afford it) and give the parole officer at least two months notice. My adoptive parents can’t afford to pay the ticket fee, which is about $200, because my (adoptive) dad is retired and my (adoptive) mom doesn’t make all that much and with tuition fees being due soon, there’s just no way.
I can’t work because of my Cerebral Palsy, Scoliosis, and Epilepsy, so I have no other option but to ask you guys to help me out. I have until late april/early may to come up with the necessary $200 to pay for my birthmom’s ticket so she can get travel approved by the parole office by july.
