he sincerely hadn't meant any harm in the nickname nor did he intend to come off patronizing if that's how it rubbed off on her. however, he would abide by the lady's wishes and refrain from any of the usual affections that would usually fall freely from his tongue. at least, he would try his very best!

" the witch ... " sanji echoes, thoughtful as he contemplates whether he's heard the moniker before. "i thought it rude not to refer to you by name, but if that's what you prefer, a man can't ignore a lady's wishes." peering around the corner, he waves for her to follow as they sneak their way past the next corridor. was it eerie that there weren't more marines walking around?

The moniker Nami has adopted and grown to love, one she plays into ; one that is true. One the that held whispers across the south blue sea, one that will be said alongside Captain Eustass Kid and Massacre Soldier Killer as part of the crew that found the One Piece. “Only those privileged get to know my name and to use it,” She comments. 

Nami was on guard, she usually was when surrounded or with others that weren’t her crew, it’s what protects her. Hopefully at the docks, with the ship ready to go. I know my girl Quincy has me but the Captain... let’s just say I hope he keeps his cool.” Her Captain better not be the reason why there was lack of marines.

Zoro have never thought that he would miss Frost, but he certainly was preferring her to this girl. At least with Frost he knew that the fights were picked in good fun, with this one he couldn't tell if she was honestly wanting to fight him or not. "Then maybe respond, next time!"

Nami crossed her arms against her chest, eyes narrowing at the other in a glare, “I don’t owe you anything!”  Sure she’s being a little petty with her response but she doesn’t care. “Do you need me to hold your hand through it?”And okay – she is aware she is getting a little mouthy and it could end horrible but she knows she could take if it came down to it ; or at least she would try.  “Only one allowed to yell at me is Kid.” Even then, it’s only orders that are for the crew because he’s a loud mouth bastard. “How about we get this over with and you can go running to your silly little crew. Neither of us want to be in this position yet here we are.” Now she's trying to be more rational now.

Kidd frowned at the sound of his navigator's voice and let out a low growl. He was the captain, it should be him who shouted orders, not the other way round. Though... she did seem better at keeping him from going to far in a fight and getting them out before the marines showed up. Not that he would dare to admit that it was her who kept them from getting caught. He snapped back, "Why shouldn't I?"

"Because you shithead, we do not have the time to be starting a fight right now." Nami says with an exasperated sigh as she crosses her arms against her chest to glare at her captain - which, given the height difference, would look silly to non members. She's not sure whether to get Killer involved or not, he's it or miss when it comes to enabling Kid and his antics. "If you start fight now, we won't get the information we need. If you are still itching to do so after, I won't stop you."

she let's out a sigh, "Well that was last week," the navigator says as she runs a hand though her hair. she's not sure why - or maybe she does know but she isn't one to admit it out loud, let alone to an opposing crew member. "things change, and maybe the doubts are founded." sure, she maybe part of one of the most ruthless crews out there - but, she still gets her doubts, she still gets scared of things others may deem silly or childish.

the redhead navigator quirks a brow at her captain, "cute how you think you have the choice in that. i was always going to anyway." she was quite good with her words and making it seem like she was good with money, and what should be good. old habits die hard is what they say, don't they? it's not like she hoards the treasure and money she finds in her hand. not when she doesn't need to anymore. but sometimes she still had found herself doing so - when something looked practically good to her. "but, i suppose it's the thought that counts, isn't? you got a funny way of saying happy birthday captain."
