Aromatherapy is an ancient tradition spanning many thousands of years, across many cultures and geographic locations.
People have smelled things and thought, "I like that" since we invented noses. The Egyptians hated aromatherapy and removed noses to give them back to the birds we stole them from. This was a dark age for aromatherapy, mostly people just smelled the inside of their heads, or the backside of their eyes.
The saltiness of their tears reminded them of the ocean, and they crawled back into the ocean to become fish, but were still humans, so they built Atlantis. Eventually the city drowned, because nobody could hold their breath that long.
After generations of dead people had died, eventually they evolved into the ceolocanths, which are widely regarded today by top cyptozoologists as incontrovertible proof that Bigfoot exists. Aromatherapy is enjoying a renaissance thanks to the rediscovery of this ancient wisdom of smelling the smells of nice smelling things.
Thank you for coming to my Ted Talk.
Delicious.
Is anybody else bitter that their disability went undiagnosed their entire youth and was treated like a behavioral/personality flaw because they got good grades?
